I am keeping some Iv'e read in a bookcase (3rd pic) the paperbacks are two rows deep (5th pic) I just wished I had Athene's bookshelves!
I love that I can post all my reads on goodreads makes it easier to look up if I have read a book or not than in my handwriten log.

Sabrina my bookshelves aren't very impressive considering that I share with a lot of people so my books go back and forth from my shelves and theirs...

Lacey | 4 comments This is so funny I have spent the last week on a bookcase hunt, I've had to put all my books out in my storage cupboard to make space and im sad without them so I am currently obsessing over bookcases and where I will fit them, then I stumble across this thread, its fate I nerd tosort my books out. I have about 790 books and not a very big flat so its awkward. I've read them all :-) I

I found my bookcases at home depot the pine ones for about 5 bucks each they were on clearance and my hubby attached them together and they line one wall. I lucked out with them, good luck finding , check craigs list you never know when someone is trying to get rid of some!

w :) Omg Ayla, I so need all that!

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) | 502 comments I have to take some photos of my bookcases. I have boxes of books in storage too, but I don't keep them all, I tend to donate them unless I really like them.

Sannie Hald (sanniehald) | 282 comments I wish I could be bothered to collect all my books in one pile in order to capture a picture yet I just cannot... I got a complete closet with several shelves, several boxes, cupboards and not to mention my kindle, iPad, and my iPhone and even my MacBook Pro filled to the max.. I am a bookaholic, or whatever it is called, I just cannot go into a book store or amazon for that matter without buying at least one book. Or leave the library without a bag full..

Ravencrantz BIG POST IS BIG

My favorite manga shelf. They wouldn't all fit in my "closet", so I brought my favorites out onto the shelf in my room.

Terry Pratchett books I have yet to read.

My "How To" shelf. How to draw, crochet, and some cookbooks. Also, a random copy of Detective Conan volume two, in Japanese.

Books to read...soon. I used to say next, but then the pile kept growing. Also, my copy of The Hunger Games that I just recently found on the family shelf.

These are the books I plan on reading next. Whether that will actually be the case is still unknown XD

Library books :D

Books that wouldn't fit on the shelf...

Mostly my favorites. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is my favorite author <3 Plus a few more books that wouldn't fit on the shelf...

MANGA :D

Most of my books are in my "closet" which is actually the furnace room...so it's really dark and hard to take pictures of.

My Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, and John Grisham shelf. That's what this shelf mostly consists of. It is double stacked...

Also double stacked...

Accessible box #1

Accessible box #2

I have more boxes, but they are in the back of the "closet" behind big boxes of stuff. I'm not supposed to be lifting anything, or I'd bring them all out :(

I am in desperate need of more shelf space XD;

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) | 502 comments I am going to sort through my shelves soon and take some photos. Right now my books are ALL over the place.

I love seeing other people's bookshelves. For some reason, they just interest me xD

I know what you mean. I am organizing my room right now so there are literally books everywhere. When I get a chance, I will take photos though.

Being surrounded by books is the best feeling in the world~

Kate Swenson (darthcupcake) My books look similar to that. One large ikea shelf upstairs for the hardcovers, and a smaller shelf for the paperbacks. More books piled up on my nightstand, in teh drawer, and on the top and top shelf of our DVD bookcase.

Whenever we buy a house, my darling husband will be building me a wall of floor to ceiling shelves SOMEWHERE in the house.

Amy (DemonKittie) (demonkittie) | 502 comments I have several bookcases, but this is my reading area. My entire headboard is a Steven King collection my mother started. The big pile is the physical books to read for the year.

Yeah, my mother and I are avid readers of his. He is responsible, with my mom's pushing, for my love of reading. Now I read more than she does. PLUS that doesn't have his hardcover ones which are in the other room on the main bookcase.

Ralica Ivanova | 41 comments this is an interesting topic :) I used to take pride in my bookshelves all organized and stuff but I moved (different continents and plan to move again in few years to another continent :) ) so I kind of gave up the whole old-fashion-ceiling-to-floor library. Now im all about ebooks ans eshelfs :) my dream library is a soundproof burgundy color room wigh black comfy lazy chair and glass cases for reading devices and memory sticks. i have bookshelves now on almosr any device on any site - ereader, kindle, phone, PC, ebooks.com etc. does that count :) sorry cant show nice pics ;) I like to read them all and reread and even have notes or pit into mood categories... you get the picture what are my shelves like :)

Awesome. I have several SK books that I am missing, but I hope at some point to fill in the gaps. The one that bugs me the most that I don't have anymore is Carrie. I think someone borrowed it and never returned it.

Ugh! I hate it when people borrow stuff and never return it- my biggest pet peeve!

Yeah. Now I write down if people borrow stuff, and I only generally borrow to my cousin because she has an even bigger collection and I get to borrow from her.
