Question's to think about:

1.What do you like most about the book?
2.Pros-Cons, which character(s) do you like best? 3.Which character do you least like?
4.Do you like the authors writing style?
5. Or anything you want to talk about!

Christie Rich | 335 comments That is just so funny! Thanks for sharing.

You know, when I was reading Twilight, this didn't bother me, but now it does. It is really creepy.

Christie Rich | 335 comments I still love twilight though.

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 197 comments 1. The over protective boy Edward who was so concerned over her honor is what capitivated me to this series.

2. I have to freely admit I'm a TEAM EDWARD, so great to all the TEAM JACOB. That leaves more Edward for me.

3.I liked Jacob the least but I still liked him.

4. I read that book in late 2009 I think. I don't remember the writing style.

5. I didn't like the rest of the books that much.

New Moon - hated, Edward was missing

Book 3 - brain freeze, I don't remember the name but it was okay.

Breaking Dawn - bizarre. The whole breaking head board, can't remember how to spell the daughter's name but her and Jacob imprinting was creepy. Turned out better int he movie.

Christie Rich | 335 comments LOL, Terri! I'm teem Edward, too. I felt sorry for Jacob, especially being saddled with someone named Renesme! What a name. I still laugh at that one. I enjoyed all of the books for different reasons, but I think my fave of the series was Eclipse, the third book.

Imprinting on a baby was strange. We all know she grows really fast, but still. I know it wasn't supposed to be sexual at that point, yet...shaking my head.

The thing about Breaking Dawn the movie was I had never imagined Bella that fragile and emaciated. It was just gross and the blood. Gag. It was good, and I can't wait for the conclusion, but wow. That was gross.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) 1. Not all vampires are scary and kill humans, they can also love them equally.

2. I like Seth, though their clans didn't have a good relationship regarding to treaty, it doesn't matter to him as long as the vampires treat him right. Like Edward.

3.least favorite.. Jessica. she talks too much.

4. Writing style is okay, I enjoyed reading the books.

5. Never ever compare Twilight to Harry Potter. it's incomparable.. ofcourse HP will win because of Adventure and Mystery which people loved for a decade.

they were compared to teen popularity.. but if you compare them based on Genre they have different focuses. Twilight more on Romance. and HP more of adventure. unfair for both parties.

HaHa, it was aweful looking.

David Estes (davidestesbooks) Lol agreed, definitely won't make top 100 baby names anytime soon :)

Taylor It's a new name to me. I've never heard that one before.

A.D. Trosper (adtrosper) I read all of the books.

The writing was okay, not stellar, but okay. The thing that I dislike the most was the love triangle between Bella, Jacob, and Edward. I also think she over did Bella's clumsiness.

The blood and such in the last book didn't bother me, but then I also read Stephen King.

Edward sneaking into her room without her permission is creepy. Later when he stayed for her protection and because she asked him to, that is different.

I know a lot of people are put off by the love at first sight and getting married young. That doesn't bother me. I did that, so I guess I can identify. I was still sixteen when I hit my barely eighteen boyfriend over the head and hauled him off to my cave (no I was not pregnant, we had our first child the same year we celebrated our fifth anniversary). My poor mother. I went from having no interest in boyfriends, to "hey mom, I'm getting married."

Eighteen years and three kids later and we are still all wrapped up in each other. We still flirt and chase each other through the house and make goo goo eyes at each other.

People are often put off by Edward being controlling. Except her is only worried about her safety. He didn't care that she was friends with Jacob, only that Jacob was a young shape shifter and could be dangerous to those around him. Bella also had the unfortunate experience of having a bunch of vampires intent on killing her.

How many would be willing to say to their loved one, "Yes, there are bunch of supernatural beings intent on your death, but that's okay, go run around by yourself, go for a walk in the woods." or "I know your friend might lose control and shape shift and rip half your face off or kill you, but that's okay,I'm willing to take that chance." And Edward did back off on that once he realized Jacob could control himself.

I think Bella got carried around a little too much though. Seemed like she was getting carried everywhere by every body.

The name Renesme didn't bother me, but then I read a lot of fantasy, so I'm used to weird names.

The bonding between Jacob and Renesme didn't bother me either, the parameters of such a thing were clearly outlined.

I know people have pointed out that Edward was nearly a hundred years old and it was creepy that he was interested in Bella. But, as shown by the immortal children, vampires are frozen at the age of their turning, physically and mentally. If the immortal children had been able to mature mentally, they wouldn't have been a problem. So Edward's vamp age may have been ninety, but he was still pretty much a seventeen year old.

A lot of people take issue with the sparkling thing. What can I say, I do to. Vamps are NOT suppose to sparkle. They are suppose to burn in the sun. Can't say I was fond of that application of originality.

Bella's behavior in the first half of New Moon was over the top I think. I fixed that by skipping the first half of it when I reread the series.

I can't stand the actors they picked for Bella and Edward in the movies. Bleck. I didn't like him when he played Cedric in HP and is acting didn't improve at all. They guy they almost chose would have been so much better.

Character I dislike the most, Rosalie. Bella's friends at school were such background characters, they hardly seem to count. But Rosalie's shallow jealousy is annoying.
