I've been riding for 2 years nearly now. I've had
myalgic encephalomyelitis (M.E.) for over 8 years, and despite my illness and the effects it has on me I adore riding. I wish I'd taken it up earlier. I've recently started to write about my experiences of riding with an invisible illness, this is my blog http://borrowing-freedom.blogspot.com/
When I first started riding I searched the internet to see what was out there on the subject, but there was little I could find and still is. I thought if I share my experiences then hopefully it may be of some use to someone of whats possible when riding with a condition like mine.
Good to meet some fellow horse lovers. I don't know about you guys but the hardest thing I've done so far was to ride in -12 conditions a few weeks ago where I live.

I'm having my second childhood and reading lots of pony books that are new to me right now. I can excuse it by saying it's research since I'm writing pony books myself but that's not to say I don't thoroughly enjoy them just as reading material.

I enjoy everything about our equine friends ... especially the smell of their breath in the winter. :-)

My horseback riding instructor has a horse named Mouse! He is a throughbreed but he is small and he is black.

Thats weird! I thought it was a pretty uncommon name, but i guess not. (: Why did he name him that?

:D

Hi I'm Feyi and I love horses, bunnies, all other animals, purple, hanging out with friends, playing outside ......

The books are adult fiction, except for TRIPLE CROSS.

It's ok, but I thought the concept got boring and repetitive after a while. I stopped after book 5, but yeah, it's worth a read :)

Sasha is starting at Canterwood Crest Acadamy as a 7th grader. She owns a horse named Charm who she events on. Canterwood is a private boarding school and one of its biggest draws is its Equestrian Team, lead by the well known Mr. Conner. There is alot of drama and horse related issues as well as PLENTY of romance. Truthfully, its more romance and drama than it is about horses! Sasha's reign (so to speak) ends when at the end of her 8th grade year, when she is about to enter high school. This is when Lauren becomes the new main character. Sasha and her friends are rarely mentioned in the new books.
Lauren is starting her 7th grade year when Sasha is entering High School. She used to be a national champion dressage rider, but after a cross country accident, she hasnt competed ever again.Sh has been working at Briar Creek Stables, the same stable Sasha Silver trained at, up to the point where she is accepted into CCA. She also ends up becoming the new owner of her horse, Whisper. Together they start working as a team and building up courage to start competeing again. Lauren wants to start at CCA as a "new person" and she doesn;t want others to find out about her ellusve, and upsetting past. But her new roommate and BFF, Khloe Kinsella, makes it tempting to spill her guts xD
Thats basicly all you need to know to get started! If you dont feel like reading the first part (the Sasha Silver books) of the series, start with "Chosen" the 1st ever Canterwood Crest Super Special. Thats the first book with Lauren Towers as the main character!
Sorry that was really long haha but I hope it helped!
Chosen
Thats the first lauren towers book ^^
Enjoy!
P.S.- Take The Reins is the first book of the entire series. Canterwood Crest is written by Jessica BurkhartTake the ReinsJessica Burkhart
There you go! ^^

P.S. I just got news that the series WILL infact come to an end when it reaches #19, Home For Christmas (Super Special #2). We still havetim before it ends however :) They are quick reads, depending on your speed you could possibly finish the series before it ends!

well if you are scard your horse can scen it then somthing will happen
