I HATED this book. Maybe it's because I'm jealous because it was written by a 17-year-old boy and became a bestseller, but I couldn't find any merit to it at all. I spent the entire book waiting for something to actually happen -- I mean, all the characters just randomly went around acting like the spoiled brats they were, and not doing anything at all. Then something did happen, the shooting, and it was like the author just got tired of writing about these people and decided to kill them all. It was a complete waste of time and I wonder if Hunter S. Thompson, et al, read the same story I did.
