I've updated my profile and gotten approved for a previous rejected galley. It needed updating at the time.
I also noticed that your GR profile is private, so that may deter publishers because they can't see your page? I link to my GR profile, my twitter profile, and my blog. I think it helps.

You can see the damage when you drive up the Interstate but the community is really rallying to support those affected.

I am glad people are helping. I grew up in a tornado alley type area, so whenever I see these stories I am drawn to them. So upsetting. I spent most of my summers sleeping in the basement. Did most of the people affected not have basements or not enough warning -- or were the storms just that powerful that even if people were in basements it didn't make a difference?
We're not in a typical tornado area. So some people have basements and some don't. East Bernstadt, where 5 people died, is the location closest to me. A lot of the people live in trailers there because it's a very poor area. When you drive up the interstate you see trailers that just look shredded.
They didn't have a chance. :( Where I am from, everyone had a basement to protect from basements, so for me it is hard to imagine not having them. Thank you for sharing.
No problem. Basements aren't normal here. We only have a half basement ourselves and we have a fairly large house.

It is under "edit profile", which is accessible in the right hand corner of the screen under your profile picture. Then click on the "settings" tab and the option is there. Under the "profile" tab you can put your blog address. :)

The West Liberty, KY, tornado was just a couple of miles from my family. My brother called just before it hit to let us know things were nasty there. Luckily all my family & loved ones are in one piece and accounted for. I knew you weren't in the line of tornadoes, Cassi, but wondered if you had storms. I grew up just less than 10 miles from where the Xenia, OH, tornado hit in 1974 and remember how scary that time was. We had a basement and I remember spending many a springtime night sleeping in the basement while my dad paced all night.
It went just south and just north of Corbin. We were very fortunate but I feel so horrible saying that having seen how hard East Bernstadt (literally 20 miles up interstate, too close for comfort) got hit. I'm glad to hear your family is okay. It sounds like a lot of people were very lucky in Morgan County, especially considering the strength of that storm.
Thank you for sharing both of you! I would be relieved too Cassi, it is just a reality of life. Tornadoes were such a huge part of my life until I moved to Chicago (but we still get sirens and warnings and have to go to the basement or break up one of the kid's baseball games like 3 or 4X a year), so I completely understand. Fortunately, everyone where I live tends to have basements even the apartment buildings. The trailer parks tend to have a centralized basement. My biggest fear was always getting caught out and about when one hit. At one point in law school I lived in a building that had no basement and there was a tornado that touched down mere miles (like 1.5) from my duplex. I hid in this small interior closet with my big dog and my 6 month old baby! It was a scary afternoon.
Last year I was at the library when the sirens went off and had to stand with like 100 other people in a small room.
I'm terrified of tornadoes, terrified! They don't get them around here often, but they happen occasionally. Every time we get a bad storm and a warning, I get nervous. The kids even know where to go... just in case. It's not like they've happened in this town, but 30 minutes away is close enough for me!
30 minutes away is TOO close for me! They terrify me because they're so unpredictable and a storm can change into a tornado in the blink of an eye. It's not like a hurricane where you can watch it's progress. You know there's a chance (we had 90% chance within a 50 mile radius and it happened) but it'll either cause lots of destruction or never come down from the clouds.
My aunt lives in Indiana, and her town was one of the hardest hit. She's fine, thankfully. Her house has a hole in the roof, but she considers herself very lucky, as her neighbor lost his house completely.I'm glad to hear all of you were safe.

NetGalley has

So I'm new to Netgalley and I had a question some of you might be able to answer. I just got a "Read Now" copy of this book...
It seems to be releasing in the US later this year under a different title. Anyway, looking under publisher preferences on Netgalley the publisher for this book wasn't listed.
My question is, if a preference for the timeframe of posting a review isn't listed anywhere when should I do it? I month before the release date? 2 weeks? Now?
