I would like to volunteer for your blog interviews. My novel is about the rite of passage young soldiers take during their first war. My book is called, Cherries - A Vietnam War Novel. Although the backdrop is the Vietnam War, many current soldiers have attested that their experiences are very similar and have impacted their mental, physical and emotional states. "Cherries" takes the reader along on this rite of passage. When finished, they will understand why our young soldiers of today are "changed" or "different" upon their return home. A must read for high school students,veterans, parents of current soldiers, and anyone else wanting to understand how war changes a person.
