I'm currently re-reading two of my favorites: Good Omens and the Sword of Truth Series. I'm also reading Destined to Reign. Additionally I'm editing A Sliver of Hope by Karla Nellenbach that will be published in April.

Normally I am done with a series after about the fourth book but I have really enjoyed this one. Light comes out in April, I think, and I can't wait.

Yesterday read
- an adult romance - not a great book but some of the best characters I have seen in the genre of historical romance so far - loved Ian and his "madness."
Right now reading
- a fun vampire horror - sort of like 24 with vampires instead of terrorists.

Read and finished Head Over Heels - Sara Downing. Now I am going back to Name and Number - John Hoskison.
I have a few going because I'm a multi-reader. I'm reading Night Circus, The Host, Lucas, Unraveling and Forbidden.
I've finished reading
by Jojo Moyes and
by Ernest Hemingway. I loved Me Before You from beginning to the end. It's a very complex novel. It is well-written, heart-breaking, gripping and deeply moving. I cried my eyes out several times while reading this book. I don't think I've ever cried this much while reading a book before! This novel deals with the topic of euthanasia and could have been really depressing but it's a credit to the skill of the author that she makes the book so readable. This is a thought provoking story and, whatever you feel about assisted suicide, it will make you think about how you would cope if suddenly all your choices and decisions were taken away from you and you had to rely on others to do everything for you. I gave this book 4.5 Stars!

Now I'm a couple of chapters into
by Janet Evanovich.

Tales Before TolkienDave Barry's Greatest Hits
The Essays of Michel Eyquem de Montaigne
Short-form compilations are what I have time for right now. Though admittedly I'm almost always reading Montaigne.
Finished Name and Number - John Hoskison. Now I'm gonna carry on reading Bad Blood: A Vampire Thriller - J.R. Rain.

It was good, I don't know if I liked it better than Cinder though.
Can't wait to start Scarlet myself...
Cause I loved
I'm reading another of the author's books
.
And putting Me Before You on my radar - though I know it will give me feels. Lots and lots of feels.

I don't like it either. Heathcliff and Cathy are so unlikable I don't care what happens to them. Also not a fan of Romeo and Juliet.
My favorite of the classic gothic romances is
Jane Eyre.

I found Heathcliff to be obnoxious, appalled by his behaviour and the treatment he received before the adopted parent had died.

I thought I was alone on this after decades of getting strange looks when I said I couldn't stand Heathcliff, thought Romeo and Juliet were both idiots (despite the amazing poetry), and loved Mr. Rochester. Jane Eyre is my very favorite romance, of any era, and one of my favorite novels.
My actual opinion is I don't approve of the nature of what she wrote about, maybe in her days it was ok for the style of writing and what she wrote, but for me it wasn't enjoyable. I tried to conjure up images different to how it was being read, but to be honest, I just couldn't get it out of my mind of how an egotistical and arrogant tyrant who was adopted could turn out to be such a evil person.
Ellie wrote: "I've finished reading The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway..."Hemingway to Stephanie Plum? Now that's an eclectic transition!
I'm reading now Darkest Before Dawn and it's driving me crazy because I know something big and important is coming (with all the annoying clues that don't make sense now) but I still have to go through all the damn 200pg to find out what it is :) I'm usually not the biggest vamp fan but this book so far is capturing my attention.
