yay!"OMG Prodigy is so amazing!"
Oh I sure hope so Tt, as I loved Legend so much. Haven't been able to read much of it with work slamming me this week but happy dance cause I at least got to start it :)
Recently finished Death on a Longship, a murder mystery set in the Shetland Islands (off the northeast coast of Scotland) during the filming of a viking movie. Quite good, really. Review is here, if anyone is interested.

Fellow readers I would be remiss if I didn't share this gem with you. I highly recommend reading EdenHere is my review of this book: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Happy reading!
Just finished Destined to Feel - Indigo Bloome. Now I am about to embark on Midnight Alley - Rachel Caine.
I've finished reading
by John Steinbeck. The Grapes of Wrath is a beautifully written but extremely moving and heartbreaking novel with interesting, realistic and well-developed characters. I love John Steinbeck's wonderful writing style. I just loved his fantastic vivid descriptions of the landscape and the people. At times the descriptions of the barren landscape and the appalling conditions the family have to put up with is very depressing. I wanted to put the book down sometimes due to this but I'm glad a persevered through and finished the novel. This novel well deserved the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction it won in 1940 and it really is a masterpiece of 20th Century literature. It is definitely a must read! Four stars! My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Now I'm about to start on
by Nicholas Evans.
I'm about to finish
it's really good.. then I think I'll start
or
. Monsters of Men is due back to the library first but I really want to continue the Night Huntress series.

Yeah, I have heard a lot about TFIOS and I was going to read it right after I finished Hopeless but was told I really didn't want to do that.
Just finished "The Companion", by Carolann Hays...a five star for sure...couldn't put it down. I am now reading the "Twilight" series.
I'm reading Personal Justice 2. It is the second book in the 8 books series that starts with Personal Justice 1. For whatever reason, only the first novel is on Goodreads, though. If you go to Amazon or Smashwords, you'll find books 1-3. :)

It's 2 short stories. Both with a timeline sent before Legend when Day & June were thirteen. One story is from Day's life and he's telling it and the other is from June's life and she's telling the story. Both nice additions to their backstory and characters but not detrimental to the overall story if you don't get to read them.

Ditto for me too Tracy :D seriously so many great books to read *sigh* and I haven't even been able to read for the past 4 dayS because had family visiting :( been dying to get back to reading Prodigy and haven't even been able to. It's been killing me. So tonight I'll finally be able to resume reading once my visiting family leaves.

No sweetie, you honestly shouldn't. They're both great MUST reads for sure but you don't want to read them back to back. They're both just way too intense and emotionally draining. You need some light, funny, happy, smexy, reads in between them.
Denee' wrote: "Just finished 'The Hunger Games'. Know I'm reading 'The Help'"Loved both of these. The Hunger Games trilogy was great. And The Help is amazing.

I can't wait to read this one. Great that it's one of our BOTM :)
Shana wrote: "Just got Iron King by Julie Kagawa, has anyone read it?"I read it. I thought it was a lot like Alice in Wonderland and some other books, but it was pretty good. I hear the series gets really good as it goes on.
