I've been trying to get my 17-year-old to read it, but as soon as she heard the word incest she freaked out and won't even look at it.

Most of the people I recommended had similar reactions. Such a shame. I hope to read her other works soon. I know she deals with mental illness in a few. I hope they are just as controversial. :)

Yesterday I started reading

I finished reading by S.E. Hinton last night. This was my first time reading The Outsiders. I never managed to get around to reading it as a teenager but I've heard so many people say it is one of their favourite books so I thought it was about time that I read it finally. And now that I've finished the book I can't believe I waited so long! The Outsiders is a gripping and compelling read which is full of suspense. It was also extremely heart-breaking and touching at times. The novel is very well-written, considering S.E. Hinton was just seventeen years old when she wrote it. I was amazed with the amount of depth and layers in this book. It really is wonderful. Five stars!

Yes, I have read it all, I'm so in love with The Merrick brothers and couldn't decide who I love most :D

Actually, and are novellas. But Hunter will have his own full story in and a novella of Nick, Breathless, both on May 2013.

But Brigid Kemmerer haven't informed yet about Michael's own story so far. I agree with you I really want to know about Michael moreover after I finished .
