message 803: by Liz (new)

Liz (eilis986) I just finished Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie and I am about half way done with. Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie

I have to say, they are not exactly as good as I had hoped. I feel like the thoughts and scenes are a bit disjointed and hop around some. More the character thoughts seem to hop around. Perhaps I should remember they are just 18 in the story. The premise is really neat. I like the idea of the completely ordered and boringly safe society. It does drag on a bit. I was hoping for a bit more action in the first one. The second seems to be picking up a bit more though. Any thoughts?
