I've been wanting to for the longest time so here goes.... I'm starting The Hunger Games this evening. I hope its worth all the hype :)
I just finished
and I am about half way done with.
I have to say, they are not exactly as good as I had hoped. I feel like the thoughts and scenes are a bit disjointed and hop around some. More the character thoughts seem to hop around. Perhaps I should remember they are just 18 in the story. The premise is really neat. I like the idea of the completely ordered and boringly safe society. It does drag on a bit. I was hoping for a bit more action in the first one. The second seems to be picking up a bit more though. Any thoughts?

, which I won in a recent giveaway :)

Cool! Will you end up watching the movie and reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay?
Dang, I devoured the Hunger Games trilogy, so good!
I'm currently reading Breathers by S.G Browne, which is brilliant and Hate List by Jennifer Brown, which is also good. I guess I have a thing for authors with the last name Brown/e right now :)
Btw, how do you make the click through links with the books? That's neat

World building is awesome and the premise behind the plot is very interesting. Sci-fi usually doesn't strike me as good, but this one's different! :3Currently reading:

I agree! I love the book but I really wish Mac would take some of it more seriously or at least stand up for herself a bit.

Which series do you like better? Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices?
I've been planning to read the mortal series up to the city of glass
and then read the clockwork angel
from infernal devices before continuing the to the
I think both of the series would be really great.
That's how I was when I read them. The third book was my least favorite, though. Let us know what you think when you finish :)
