Currently I'm reading The Chairman by Stephen W. Frey. It's a thriller set on Wall Street. The protagonist has just become CEO of a huge firm after the previous CEO has drowned. After the funeral, he's about to get into a limo when it explodes. So far I'm finding this book to be a page-turner.

Does anyone have any books they really recommend? I'm waiting for about 10 books to come out, and I need something to read in the mean time!

Lately I am totally obsessed with medieval history... I make the excuse that I am doing research for my own story but really I am just addicted to it!
Lately I am totally obsessed with medieval history... I make the excuse that I am doing research for my own story but really I am just addicted to it! Right now I'm trying to get through Sisters of the Bruce, by J.M. Harvey. The first half almost did me in, I was about to give up on it but scolded myself to keep going with it anyway... Luckily it's gotten much better! It caused me to go off in further research of the punishment of two of the women, which involved locking them in hanging outdoor cages till they "should rot and die". I am still having some trouble getting over my feeling of being disturbed by that fact!
