Thanks Byron, I'll send her a message and see if she's interested. And come on, we all need more blogs. ^^
ahhh... NO.. I have about 26 blogs on the go (not that I read them everyday).. PLUS fa(r)cebook... G+.. umm Goodreads... and what ever website tickles my fancy.. trust me.. I HAVE to much reading.. *LOL*
Only 26? I have 59. Of course, some of them I ended up following because of a blog hop and I don't really look at them, but I scan through the feed on google reader every few days to see if something interests me. So I guess the 59 doesn't really count. XD
I don't do blog reading (hides my head in shame) well, almost none, even though I have a blog myself. But if you need a guest writer, I could take a shot at it. Let me know PM if you want.
Patricia--what do you mean by reading--are you looking to talk with betas or the average joe or josie reader?
Never a dumb question Matt, I agree what is a beta when refering to reading. In my head a beta is second to the Alpha lol
A "beta reader" is like a "beta tester". They read the manuscript after the author has revised and edited, but before anyone else, including a publisher, gets to see it. Beta readers might pick up on something the author has missed, like a plot inconsistency, and can give the author feedback on anything in the story that isn't clear or doesn't make sense.
Matt, FYI young adult male beta readers are at a premium, should you be interested. I looked for one for my GSA story, ended up with an excellent guy but late twenties so not quite YA-range.It is more work than just reading, and for a favorite author you might not want to see a story in its unfinished state.
I just love those shifter books and my mind right to that when talking about beta's. lolMatt wrote: "Tana wrote: "Never a dumb question Matt, I agree what is a beta when refering to reading.

Hmmmm... sound a little bit like BDSM."
Beta readers are a major part of writing. The author may be to close to the story to see problems, a beta reader can pull them back to have a closer look.

Jo, I'd love to have you, love to guest on your blog and add you to my blog roll. I'll send you a PM.
Speaking of beta, if I ever get around to what my current ones have said for my one WIP, I might need more. I will also need some for a LGBTQ short story series (four part series. One has M/M relationship, two have f/m and last one has M/M/F)
Well, hello, Twitter bud! :D I can guest blog for you as I've got a couple of new novels coming out (one in November and one in December) plus short stories scheduled for release starting January.
I can guest blog on the day(s) of the release(s), depending on whether or not you'd like me to post twice on different days. :)

I was wondering if any of you be interested in being a guest on my blog? The posts would be on Friday. Also, if you're a writer and have a book out, feel free to pimp it a little too. Or if you know anyone who would be interested, pass the word. I'd appreciate it. This is my blog: http://plbjourney.blogspot.com/
