Ack, I'm so far behind! And you guys doubling up the questions is not helping. ;-)22. So Regin met Sebastian. Not exactly under the best circumstances, was it? And it wasn't until he left that Kaderin attempted to explain anything about him to Regin. Why do you think she's trying to ignore what they have? Is she really against him being a vamp or is it something else?
She seems to also have some fears of repercussions from the coven. She wonders what they'd do if they found out about them. I think it's interesting that she's subconsciously thinking about them as a them.
23. What'd you think of the reunion between Nikolai and Sebastian? Will they ever get along again?
Call me a terrible person, but I loved Nikolai freaking out and thinking Myst had blooded Sebastian... :-)
I think eventually Sebastian will come to terms with it and forgive Nikolai.

She certainly seemed to be melting nicely -- much too early in the story, something had to happen!

Good question. Her coldness could definitely make her hard to love. It might well help.

LOL I think she needs to be paired with another Wroth brother...could you imagine the family get togethers where she has to be in the same room as the guy who trapped her in the snow and the woman who was/is her main competitor for the Hie? Can we say strained? ;)

45. Uh oh! For those of you who like Bowen, are you still feeling the love after what he did to Sebastian at the end of Chapter 33? I get the why of what he did and that makes it easier to understand, but it was on the vicious side.
46. Why isn’t Kaderin a little more worried about where Sebastian is? I thought her feelings were back. that baffled me...she hasn't been at all concerned about why he hasn't shown up for 2 nights? Did she think he wouldn't come to her after the night they shared and she left blood for him? BTW, I thought that was super sweet that she went and got blood to leave for him.

Lisa Kay’s Questions for Chapter 25 – 29 34. Maybe I’m sharing too much, but I always wanted to become a member of “The Mile High Club.” You too? Or are you already a member? Does the possibility of a club initiation with a handsome vampire make it even more appealing? I'm not a member, and its always intrigued me, but I'm so practical, lol, that I don't think the reality would live up to my expectations... I'd be so disappointed if it just ended up feeling.. squished!
35. Another fantasy. I always wanted to have a debate about quantum physics and the reincarnation of the soul. Especially while a handsome nerd was ogling me while I dressed. Are you partial to nerds? Can you hold your own with them – or are you one too? Did you know talking science could be an aphrodisiac? I definitely can't hold my own with anything scientific but I AM partial to intelligent, well-read, pasionate men who like to theorise... LOL, though I haven't met any in RL. My husband is an I.T. geek.. *sigh* it's just not the same, lol!

37. How are you liking the Talisman's Hie? Do you watch The Amazing Race? Do you like scavenger hunts? Why does Sebastian keep forgetting that its hostess, Riora, is the Goddess of Impossibility? I haven't seen it in ages but I used to love the Amazing Race. All the different tasks are giving the book a great pace. lol, I keep forgetting about Riora as well.
38. Were you surprised by Kaderin’s former nickname? I wonder if Myst will let that slip to Sebastian. yep, surprised.
39. Whoa! That phone booth scene went from H.O.T. to H.A.R.S.H. Comments. Which of the two of them was the cruelest with their words? I didn't think he was cruel. I thought he needed to reassert himself in a big way, or he'd lose her respect in the long run.
40. Which surprised you more about Gamboa? (view spoiler) I wasn't expecting Regin to get dobbed in for this one.

Lisa Kay’s Questions for Chapter 30 – 34 41. We learn a bit more about Sebastian’s “romantic” sexual history. That widow was a b!tch. All for a wager? No wonder his is gun shy of women. Now he has a “plan” for a new bargain with Kaderin? Think it will work? I think he’s quickly learnt that he can’t treat Kaderin as he’s used to treating other women, so sad he’s been made to feel he’s a brute!

I used to snuba dive (kind of like scuba – with a raft on the surface feeding you air via a hose) and let me tell you, there is nothing like seeing a shark in the water with you to make your heart race. Do any of you scuba/snuba/snorkel? Any experiences with sharks? And Kaderin bit back, LOL. Did you think the dialogue between her and Sebastian was funny? Comments.
48. Ah! A little honesty between Katja & Bastian at last. Glad he cleared up why he didn’t phone and she the reason for her lack of underwear. LOL! Can a reference to a 19 year old movie, Basic Instinct, stand the test of time for this book? Is that a risky move by the author?

I'm chicken LOL I did like the dialogue :) It was funny that she bit the shark and was like "he bit me first"

Anything to do with the water tends to be the way of life here in Australia and there's so many beautiful beaches, bays and coves to explore. I've seen a few sharks, but mostly baby ones and even though you know they can be dangerous, they're still kinda cute in their size. um... I wouldn't try biting one though, that cracked me up!

Susan's Questions for chapters 40-4255. So, Sebastian and Kaderin go back in time to save her sisters. Did it surprise you that Sebastian was killing vampires while Kaderin was gathering her sisters to time travel? And did you expect the sisters to freak when the realized he was a vamp?

Yeah. That was a little rough. Wondered if Kaderin the Cold Hearted was coming back. She knew he was watching her… Maybe she was afraid she breakdown and cry if she spoke of him, or she didn’t want her sisters to overhear. Who knows!

Yes! That part was neat. I think when I read the book the first time, I did suspect them… but maybe I’m just wishful thinking.

I figured she would take them, Susan. (LOL! Totally understand the typing... sometimes I just shake my head at what I post.)
Susan's Questions for chapters 40-4255. So, Sebastian and Kaderin go back in time to save her sisters. The sisters freaking was expected. Sebastian in battle mode was a pleasant surprise.
56. Were like Sebastian, knowing that Kaderin would take her sisters and leave? Do you think that was the wisest thing to do? I knew she’d come back with her sisters, I knew her sisters would join the New Orleans coven, but I didn’t think Kaderin would leave him. I can see how ti was necessary, but I didn’t get the complete lack of contact. Even immortals must be able to have mobile phone coverage!
57. My heart broke for Sebastian when he asked Myst if she's asked about him and she said no. Comments? I was kinda disappointed in Kaderin. Felt a little like her “old” cold-hearted ways.
