The whole conflict between Woodbury and the prison is pretty silly. It would be so easy for a sniper to simply come near either and pick off a few people and then leave.

Neither have enough people to have extensive patrols out and about to prevent it.

True. The Governor did that once.

Yeah, until he did that, there was no conflict, and after their little "peace talk," Rick naively thought that a conflict had been averted.

[Steve]

Daryl is going to want revenge for his brother. You know next week will end in a cliffhanger, right?

Merle kidnapped the kids and that set up the rescue too which wound up with casualties on both sides.

And then we have to wait until October again. :(

I'm starting to think I wouldn't be surprised if they killed all the familiar characters and started over with The Walking Dead: Next Generation. Sorry, nerd raging about the end tonight, even though I felt it coming. Running out of characters I identify with. Now they're just a body count. (hide spoiler)]

I'm really bummed about Andrea though. I am also breathing a sigh of relief that Daryl made it through.

(view spoiler)[I had been wondering too why the Woodbury group were "able" to leave. But yes, the scene where the Governor just HAD about enough took care of that.

On Carl's move - I mean the kid didn't PUT DOWN his rifle. Perhaps because he saw Carl as a really young kid thought he had the upper hand. He was certainly wrong.

Like the Governor who'd do anything for his daughter, Carl has to look out for his baby sister more so than the rest of the group. We can figure how far Carl will go from that scene.

So of course Carl poses the question. He knows the strength of the group is vital to survival - he pretty much reiterates to his dad the losses are huge.

Now will they remain as being the weakest of what's left of the Woodbury group or will they will add strength?

As for the Covernor, I believe he'll be back...creating his "army" - and if he runs into the Nebraska gang...oh boy! (hide spoiler)]

I thought it was an alright episode. It wasn't that great though. The battle we all knew was coming just sort of petered off to me and it was rather anti-climatic.

I am bummed, too, Charlene, but thought this would happen...and while I thought there would be more of a battle, the setup in the Tombs was badass! This just gives us more to look forward to this fall...

OK first, if your going to put up a spoiler warning, you cant go right after it and say that your bugged about what happened to Andrea, that's a "dead" giveaway. lol excuse the pun. Just for future references. Luckily I had watched it already. I don't want to tick anyone off, but I'm just saying...

Second, I was ready for a much bigger fight. I was ready to see some kind of, or at least a little more closure, between he two groups. But it didn't really happen, though, some of the things that went down were expected. Gale Ann Herd, executive producer had kind of let the cat out of the bag when she said that she'd love to have David Morrissey back on the series, without totally saying that we would be back. Bad move on her part.
But overall, it was a little bit of a let down, while I'm glad our little group didn't lose much in the way of personnel, I was glad to see that Hershel didn't buy the farm. He is the collective conscience of the group. The other loss tot he group wasn't that much of a loss at all and I was already tired of that person. It was time for some new blood.

I actually liked the mid season episode much better. I miss merle already we barely had him back :( .. Well andrea liked to sleep with all the bad boys one was going to get her

I'm glad TV Carl seems to be turning a little more into comic book Carl. He's a much more interesting character that way. I loved the (view spoiler)[look of disgust on his face at the end of the episode. "Look at all these useless mouths we have to feed now." (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, Teresa, I did kinda like the tension he brought to the group...but I'm glad he redeemed himself...nicely done. Nice to see Rick show some concern about Carl, and actually kiss his newborn child! Can't wait for October! I wonder if the Governor is gonna get a tank...? ;)

According to Kirkman; season 4 seems the group is going to be remaining in the prison with their new refuges. No other mention of the Gov was made, but I'm sure that he will show up again. Rick is supposed to find his humanity again, while trying to cope with Carl's new outlook on life. That is a partial bit of news from The Walking Dead camp.
