Jc | 4 comments Okay, I loved this book and I know many others would too:

Yellow cover, Had the title that was close to Invisible Alien or something. Has a certain award as well, but I can not recall what it was.

Summery: About a girl who moves into town and notices something strange going on at school and how this one kid is invisible in school, who acts mute but others don't know why.

Later on she notices that he's actually a genius when she picks up one of his homework pieces.

She then starts the road of befriending him and trying to get him out of his shell and she eventually falls in love with him.

As he grows out of his shyness he starts to fall for her too but pushes her away when they kiss, breaking out of his muteness and telling her that it's too dangerous (I think for him, can't quite remember).

Later on she discovers the reason for his behaivor and his muteness (sp?), being that he was abused (again I'm not positive) either by his dad or what.

I'm sorry this is all I can remeber. I read this book 5 years ago and it stuck with me except the title...

But please help me! I adored this book and I'd like to read it again. It was one of my top 10 books to read :)

Rebecca (liralin) | 198 comments You're very welcome! I actually read this book for the first time earlier this year after coming across it on an earlier thread on this board found here. Enjoyed it a lot.
