What do you think will happen in The Mark of Athena?

I mean, Annabeth is like a main character, plus Rick Riordian knows most of his fans love her and Percy so I don't think he would kill her. Plus it's not like the book hints that she is going to die. Plus, I don;t get why people don't think she's already one of the seven. Because she is one of the seven half-bloods. First of, the book is called the mark of Athena! and second, she's going on the ship to camp Jupiter. If you remember in the lost hero at the end, she asks Jason if she can come

ya but with all the prophecies about her and how hera said that she was gonna cause percy trouble it kinda makes it seem like something bad is gonna happen to her.
causing Percy trouble doesn't equal her death though. Plus, he's tried to trick us before, remember in The battle of the labyrinth, he made us think she was going to die but she didn't. And there isn't a prophecy directly about her
I think this prophecy about 'daughter of wisdom walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through rome' means Annabeth isn't one of the seven and Nico is and she's to remain at Camp Jupiter to help rebuild the place.
i dont think nico is one of the seven because isnt he like missing? and he hasnt really played that big of a role in the book, and hera mentioned annabeth and the prophecy says its a daughter of athena. but what i think could happen is annabeth dies but then the book ends with some big cliff hanger saying that she really is alive.
Nico isn't one, it's Percy, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, and Annabeth

What does leo have? and it already said she was one. She asked Jason to take her and he said that he wanted her to come. plus in chapter one, ANNABETH is on the ship with only Leo, Piper, and Jason!

he would have too many upset fans if he did that(like me) and I forgot about the fire thing. Well Annabeth has the invisibility thing even if she has to use a hat. Beside smartness should count I mean what other power could a child of athena have?

well i also said in the first chapter that she got a scary gift from her mom, something like that. i wonder what that is?
idk but the first chapter is in 3rd person POV not annabeth's

no because the first line is "Until she met the exploding statue, Annabeth thought she was prepared for anything." so it's third person since it said Annabeth not I
But it's in annabeth's head with her thoughts so it's third person with a certain narrarater each chapter.
What do you mean? The first chapter of MOA is from annabeth's head.

you have no idea how much you made my day. even if Percy and Annabeth still haven't meet. Are any of you mad that the romans and greeks are going to battle in the next book?
Oh my gods it actually made me want to cry when I first saw the cover for MoA!! It's so obviously Jason and Percy fighting, and the owl makes it look like its Annabeths fault! And when I read the first chapter of MoA, I actually sat in my room literally screaming with annoyance... my throat hurts:P but anyway, when it mentions houw she can't pray for her mum and the present thing, I think it means she might have got one of those mark things that Daedelus got? Alot of people have said that they think Annabeth is going to die, and my thoughts are somewhere along those lines. Theres been hints that Percy's relationship with Annabeth are going to end the world since the third book when Athena tells percy she doesn't approve of him knowing Annabeth, and then things keep coming up about how Percy is going to have to make a sacrifice he can't make. People have said that what Hera said about Annabeth means that she's going to be bad, but I think that it just means its going to cause trouble for percy not being able to give her up. I think that she's going to have to go through the doors of death to close them, and the scary present thing shes got is the only thing that has the power to close them. Because Percy won't let her go, Annabeth runs through in the confusion of battle or something. Then I think that just as the doors are about to close, Percy goes crazy and runs through them (cause he's impulsive) and drags Annabeth out, and worse case senario they both get stuck in the underworld, or percy pushes annabeth but then he might get trapped himself, or (Hopefully!!) they both get out safely. And I think that Gaea trapped Nico by the doors of death or something. And I think Leo and Frank aren't going to get along cause of Hazel, and then Leo will loose control and accidentally set fire to Franks driftwood and nearly kill frank. or something. Also, Thanatos said to Frank that they would meet again in worse circumstances, which means that Frank will have to expirience death again, whenther it's his own death or someone's close to him. And I think Leo might try to bring his mother back from the dead and get sidetracked when they are trying to close the doors of death. And when they are at the doors of death,, Hazel might get pulled in because of being so close to Hades, and he can't let any escaped souls go free if he knows about them. And then theres going to be a Reyna - Jason - Piper love triangle which will be interesting, cause Piper and Reyna are both really strong women in really different ways. Annabeth is definitely one of the 7 I think cause its in her PoV in the first chapter of MoA, right? Also, what happens if "foes bear arms at the doors at death" means that the Romans and the Greeks fight at the doors of death cause Gaea gets in their minds, rather than them working together to fight Gaea? Ahhhh, all these thoughts are making my head explode!!! And btw, Percy is way better than Jason. PERCY IS AMAZING!!!! I love him :')
ARRGGHHHHH, WHY ISN'T THE REUNION IN THE FIRST CHAPTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -.- ugh, my impatience is killing me. Sorry for going on for so long, I've been thinking up all those ideas for so long, I really needed someone elses opinion on them!!

I LOVE PERCY AN:D PERCABETH CAN'T END like i said before Roirdain would have to many upsets fans (like me) if he killed annabeth and/ or percabeth
oh yeah, and katie, I think what Alyssa is tring to say is that even though it's in third persom, we are still reading form annabeths pov. It was like than in the other HoO books, wasn't it? So she has to be one of the seven (hopefullyyy!!!):)

i swear,if he kills percy or qannabeth or has them break up, he will have alot of very angry fans stop by his house to beat him up!!

ok i dont think percy is going to kill annabeth, but in the first chapter of the MoA it said annabeth doesnt trust jason,so maby she will cause trouble by geting percy not to trust jason, then they start fighting ect.
That would explain why they're fighting on the cover.
Yeah, but hopefully Jason and Percy don't end up fighting, because they're my two favourite characters. D: Maybe it's just to show when they come together they might have a few disagreements, but hopefully not major ones because then Gaea will win.And I think the reason why so many people hate Jason is because Jason is like the Roman twin of Percy. Has anyone noticed how alike they are? It's like Jason is a parallel version of Percy in the Roman world. And because Jason is so similar to Percy, it's like...it's like the thing with Thalia. You know, "You will either be best friends or you'll try to strangle each other." Or whatever it actually was. It'll be like that, and I think people see Jason as a threat to Percy or something. I don't know, but I can't wait to see what Riordan comes up with! :D

Yeah they're both leaders so I can see how they're similar. Except for like, Jason is a total rule follower and Percy doesn't mind breaking the rules. And have you noticed that Percy doesn't make really good first impressions? When he first met Rachel, he slashed her with a sword. When he first met Dionysus, he insulted him. And the list keeps going...Anyways, I know Rick Riordan said that that picture is an actual scene in the book. It says on his blog.
Yeah...Percy's first assumptions of people aren't always correct. Percy thought Rachel blowing her nose was the sound of skeletons' teeth. xD But, I think Jason and Percy are alike because of their leadership skills, and the way they treat people...I don't know, just reading from both of their POVs they just seem really similar. Whatever, it may just be my brain being strange. :P
Well I think annabethy will die. Wait! Percy will try to save her. She now will be alive but it will screw up the quest

well, i had read somewhere that while the 7 r fighting Gaea in Europe, camp half blood and camp Jupiter r having a war and annabeths the only thing that'll stop them, so i think she'll have to leave percy and go back to america

omg i had this really stupid idea... but some how fits...about why on earth jason and percy would be fighting in MoA (if u don't know wat im talking about lok at the cover)isnt annabeth going to cause percy and crew trouble or something and so jason wants to punish her or something but percy being the adorable boyfriend he is is not going to let that happen
