Anna Lee The Hunger Games, but I did love all three books. In my opinion, Mockingjay was excellent too and so was Catching Fire.

Mockingjay was different and was more about her struggle of sanity, however even if it was different, I believed it was still really good.

Megan CF i hate MJ

Nya Tomlinson-Horan-Malik-Payne-Styles Catching Fire. It is a perfect mixture of book 1 and book 3. you meet a lot of characters, a lot of twist and turns, and overall most entertaining.

Jules:) Character Development: CF
Action: HG
Struggle: MJ
Suspense: HG
Pathos: can't decide
----------
Overall:HG
But all three were awesome:)

Natalie HG was a gripping read. I had so much univ work that had to be put on hold because I couldn't fully concentrate on my work until I knew what happened. I also usually read books in a slow-manner so it lasts for awhile, but I had to burn through this book. I loved the other two books, but the first book was so compelling and ‘edge of chair’ worthy.

that's funny- I actually failed a test b/c I couldn't put down these books until I'd read them all! it's dangerous for a college student to encounter such page turners, isn't it? :)

I think I agree w/ you, that CF was a good mixture of the other two...so, it might be my favorite, too.

ImScared3222 Hunger Games and Mockingjay In my opinion is usually always the first or the last book in a series that's the best.

MAY I absolutely loved the Hunger Games I think it was the best one! I love Mocking Jay and Catching Fire equally they were both great books. I found the ending of Mocking Jay kinda sad do. The ending could have been better. But other than that I love the trilogy so much.

I Totally agree with you!

Charlotte honestly it was the whole series that tied it all together :) each book had something likeable in it :)

Sam McGraw The first one was definately the best!!! The others sort of lost the drive that I loved in the first one, but they were still good. The first one waas just wonderfully straightforward: survival of the fittest/smartest

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) Yes,during the first you got to experience the games at it's best.

message 21: by Dee (new) - rated it 5 stars

Dee The Hunger Games, the first is always the best. Though the other two are also amazing!!

message 22: by Aeva (new) - added it

Aeva The Hunger Games was the best of the books, and catching Fire was pretty good as well.
I enjoyed aspects of Mockingjay, but none of them really pertain to katniss.

Rachel THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!

Janie Hands down, The Hungar Games was my favourite.

Savannah Sara :) wrote: "my review: I really liked the first and second one but this one I'm disappointed in. I'm surprised Katniss wanted to continue the Hunger Games; isn't the whole point of fighting the capitol, to end..."

I love all of them! But Mockingjay might be my favorite. I love that she didnt end the book perfectly, or that the war wasnt actually a war. The series needed to have some parts that arent perfect, because she wasnt trying to write something just to please the people who are reading it (that would be twilight). She gave us something interesting and unexpected to think about and wonder about long after we finish the book. And as for katniss wondering about starting the hunger games again, it just shows the corruption on people, that there is always someone who believes the wrong thing is the right thing to do. while the ending is bittersweet, it could not be any better in my opinion. I'm glad Collins didn't end it with Peeta and Katniss together, and gale as a best friend who lives next door, and prim growing up to be a successful doctor who looks after alllll those people who fall ill. Its not a fairy tale, its called the hunger games after all

Dee Agree 100% ^^

Akdiligence I loved them all. Catching Fire was my favorite.

Cat the first one

Sharefah The hunger games!!!

Kay Marie I loved them all too, but I did like Catching Fire the most.

Naomibrooksnaomi Brooks i loved them all but i have to say number2 is the best mockingjay was the least good.

Kay Marie I thought Mockingjay was good. The reason people don't like or think that it was boring because, Mockingjay was all the background stories trying to be pulled to an end. That's not always easy to do. Especially when you write two books that are building up so much to the conclusion. And then people get upset with how it ends, because everyone in their own mind want it to end the way they want it. But if you think about the book and how Suzanne Collins brought it to an end and then think how you thought should end, would it have been any better? Or the same like any other book?

Plus I thought Suzanne was being very original with the way she did it.

i completely agree with u this why its my least fav if i had to choose its stil a fantastic book and all 3 were so well writen all characters no matter how small a part u got completely x

Kay Marie Exactly! I think if ya gonna dis the last book in any series, at least understand why it turn out the way it did. That way you can still not like it but appreciate it too. ;)

In my opinion, The Hunger Games. Catching fire and Mockingjay to me just weren't the kind of books that could follow a book like The Hunger Games.

Sambath mockingjay the best next the hunger games..

Headphones/God'sGirl7 Hungergames all the way!!! ;D

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

The Hunger Games, def. :D

Headphones/God'sGirl7 Knew you would... ;)

Brittany hunger games, hands down. catching fire was still good, but she just lost steam with mockingjay

Matilda Rose The Hunger Games was amazing, Catching Fire was really good, but Mockingjay let me down.

The Unicorn Riding Faerie[Vee] I LOVE Catching Fire, I like Mockingjay and i liked Hunger Games the least.

Sanne ♔ The Hunger Games for sure.

george ☽ I loved all of them but I preffered the Hunger Games by far. I dont know... Catching Fire was just a bit repeaty... thing... and Mockingay left a lot of questions. But I still LOVED all of them!

Bonnie E. Hunger Games would be my first choice. It was quite a page turner which captured my interest throughout whereas Catching Fire was a bit of a slog to get through. Would rate Mockingjay as second choice although it felt too over the top and chaotic at times.

Olivia didnt like mockingjay that much. I would have to say the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is about her fight for survival and was much more....enjoyable for me to read.

Jennifer Hunger Games is my favorite of the 3. Then Catching Fire and Mockinjay is my least favorite.
