Yeah. But I have faith in Ms. Hale. She was pretty resistant to writing a sequel, so she must have had an awesome idea if she's writing one now.

I KNOW! I'm super excited. And I have a feeling that Shannon won't disappoint. It's been 6 YEARS since PA came out! And if she's been resisting all this time...I don't think she would've given in (technically she didn't, though) if she didn't have an amazing idea.

But this new love interest...that's what I'm mainly worried about. But I shouldn't be.

Yes. I totally agree with that. Except I think Katar is too independent-minded for a love interest (but who knows?).

I'm also worried that it'll be a love triangle, and I don't like those one bit. But I'm pretty sure this fear in irrational.

However, if she does like the other guy more, I'm sure Ms. Hale would make it believable.

Peder and Miri HAVE to live happily ever after together! I'll freak if they don't. I love Peder. But then again, Peder is so sweet and good. I'm beginning to suspect that the new guy is wild and exciting.

Okay Okay I love Peder and Miri. They rock. :D I think they might be my favorite couple in all her books. Though I like Isi and Geric.....

Oh and I'm thinking it'll be interesting if the book is from Miri's POV. Because SH did say she wasn't really going to write two books from the same POV. But it soundsl ike it's Miri's. Hmm

Oh! my favorite couple in all of the SH books is either Enna and Finn or Razo and Dasha. The couple of Naphralina and that one prince guy in River Secrets was so cute, too! And the potential romance between Rin and Conrad, I love that. But Razo and Dasha are cute because Razo's just so confused around Dasha and Dasha's has so much common sense. I love it when girls have all the cool and the guys are so flustered.

Wasn't PA in Miri's POV? In an outward, I can see all, perspective?

very true, Zoe. But I trust Shannon. She hasn't let us down yet- and there was a lengthy gap between RS and FB- but FB was wonderful. I'm just gonna keep that in mind- and also that it might not be good. Then my expectations aren't too high- or low.

i hope so. i dont want her to wreck it. it just seems that shes sort of reluctant to do a sequel, and if she doesnt want to do it then she might not comit 100%. anyway, i just hope it will be as good as the first. we never know, it could even be better....

Actually, the fact that she hasn't written the sequel until now means that she must have a had an amazingly brilliant idea. She was pretty adamant about it being a standalone.

But yeah, I have those same fears.

i am definitely going to buy it. there are no libraries where i live that have new books in English.

Get a kindle, or something like that, so that you have a constant, somewhat cheaper, source of books in English.

i hate kindles. and i have grandparents who love buying me stuff, so i get most of my books from them. they're coming to visit in a week and they're bringing me like 10 books. i'm so excited!!!!!

Its horrible how my grandparents live halfway across the globe and have almost no money, except enough for them to live comfortably. And my parents are insanely frugal.

I'm probably gonna get it through the library, but I'll do what i did for FB- request it like 2 months before it comes out. (Although that was accidental. I thought it was coming out in August, not September)
