message 51: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie What did he do that was so bad? You tell me, and maybe I'll agree with you.

And saying that he says stupid stuff doesn't count as something "SOOO BAD!!!!" that he did.

message 52: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments Our national debt is 34,000 dollars for every man woman and child living in the us today.

If you look at the scale our debt was sky rocketting in his presidency.

He started the war in iraq, and now were spending almost a billion dollars a month there!!

hes really really bad!!

message 53: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie He was stuck with some of the debt to begin with.

And the war, it couln't be helped! It was people like you that were in support of the war all those years ago, why suddenly turn your back on it, because we're spending some time there to fix things? I'm sorry that wars don't work like your microwave does.

Anything else?

message 54: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments The war SO could have been helped!

We could have gone to look for the WMD's and when we didnt find them LEAVE!!

Simple as that!

message 55: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie No it couldn't have! The war was started because the terrorists attacked us! That's why we went over there!

Sheesh!

message 56: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments the war in Iraq, had NO connection to 9/11.

And thats the sad part.

message 57: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Um ... yeah it did.

That's why we went in, and that's why Bush got re-elected.

message 58: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments We went therefor

1 oil.
2 WMD;s
3 saddam

message 59: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Have you ever wondered why it's called the "WAR ON TERROR" because we're fighting agaist TERRORISTS!!! THAT'S why we're still there! We're still fighting the terrorists!!!!

message 60: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie And helping the Iraq people get back into their normal daily routines (without the innocent murdering of Iraq citizens by their government).

message 61: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments If helping means killing innocent civillians, then yeah

message 62: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie We're not killing innocent civillians!!!! Sometimes there are innocent people killed, but every war has some killed that weren't supposed to!

So you're saying that you would have ended the war between the north and the south fighting against slavery because a few innocent people were killed?

message 63: by Alex (new)

Alex (bigalreno) | 86 comments Sorry about the language. Fuck ya it is over!

message 64: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments "We're not killing innocent civillians!!!! Sometimes there are innocent people killed"

CONTRADICTORY!

message 65: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie No it's not. I'm saying we're not there purposely killing them, some of them dying is just a thing that we have to live with.

message 66: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments But it was still contradictory.

message 67: by Eric▲ (new)

Eric▲ | 716 comments OH NO!
i just remembered!
last night i had a dream that terrorist would attack the US SOON!
and it was like my 9/10/01 dream!

GAH!
I AM WORRIED!

message 68: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Ugh! Fine, so it how you will. But I don't see it the same way.

message 69: by Eric▲ (new)

Eric▲ | 716 comments ?

message 70: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Sorry, Eric. I was talking to Chandani.

That's a weird coincidence. I'd be afraid if I were you, too.

message 71: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) From the way you saw it, yes. You saw it at face value, but you didn't see what she ACTUALLY meant.

Think about it this way:
Citizens in this country are killing other citizens in this country.
Non-citizens of this country probably do some of that killing too.

Citizens of Iraq are killing other citizens of Iraq.
Soldiers do some of the killing too. But they don't kill innocent citizens ON PURPOSE.

See the subtle differnence? It happens EVERYWHERE! War only temporarily increases those numbers.

message 72: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments what i think is stupid is this:

bush clearly said he was going to start a long and difficult war

you guys elect him

he does exactly what he said he was going to do

and now you guys start bitching about it

what part of "Long and difficult war" do you not understand?

and the war was started to prevent 9/11's from happening and bush has succeeded. but you ungrateful people just complain

really, the question is are we going to let the soldiers die, or unsuspecting people?

message 73: by Brent (new)

Brent (brentguy) | 69 comments "He was stuck with some of the debt to begin with."

—Kenna

We had a SURPLUS with Clinton. When Bush came into office, we had a deficit all of a sudden.

AND our economy is crashing due to his FAILED policies.

ßrent

message 74: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments yeah i know

so many people blame what happened with clinton on bush
(im guessing because of their inability to admit that bush was wrong and the brainwashing of the media.)

message 75: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments This financial crisis is the result of 8 years of failed Bush policies.

I am sooooo glad that Mc cain didnt win, because that would have just been 4 more years of Bush.

message 76: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments hey, congress could've stopped him any day

so it isn't all his fault

there's over a 100 people in the congress who gave him the 2/3 or 3/4 (whichever, i forgot) for him

so his ideas couldn't have all been crap since they no more about politics than you or i

message 77: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments They probably werent his ideas anyway. I think hes a bit too stupid to have come up with anything, so there had to have been some other idiot behind him.

But still he was president when everything started going downhill.

message 78: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments well people were already complaining on the first term so i just can't see why they re-elected him

i mean after we did, all people did was complain

message 79: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments yeah. i dunno. i think they put toxic gasses in the polls to make them vote Bush.

message 80: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Or MAYBE there were enough people that didn't want a democrat running the country. ;)

message 81: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments well the first one i can understand why people might think that something happened

but the 2nd, he clearly won so i just don't get why people vote him on and complain

i mean i wasn't particularly surprised by anything he did

message 82: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) We went to AFGHANISTAN for the terrorists. Not Iraq. A year or so into Afghanistan, then Bush decides that we should go to Iraq for the 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' that weren't really there. Yet we're still over there.

message 83: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments Yup. And Al' Queda is chillin with Bin Ladin in a terrorist paradise in Afghanistan.

message 84: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie I applaud message 88. That's what I've been trying to say for the entire debate.

I can't STAND how ungrateful the American people are, he's doing his best. We elected him, with an above 80% approval rating, and now you're calling him rude names and saying he's stupid?

I admit, sometimes he can say some stupid things, but that doesn't mean he's stupid!

message 85: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments He comes off as pretty stupid though.

But i get your point.

message 86: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) Yes, he does come off as pretty stupid.
And people only elected Bush the second time because he started the war, and they wanted him to finish it. Plus they thought that Kerry or whoever it was was too cocky.
But the first time, the voting machines in Florida were really messed up. Who was the governor of Florida at the time? Bush's cousin. Who was the supervisor of the voting there in Florida? A random person Bush didn't know. But after the election she became a senator. Suspicious much?

message 87: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments He**z yeah it does.

message 88: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) But Gore won. Fox news just said Bush won, and if Fox says it, it has to be true. So all the other news channels said they made a mistake, blah blah blah, and that George Bush was actually the one who won.
They did a reelection from Florida, and Gore actually won. But it was too late. Gore had relinquished his running. And now we're millions of miles into a whole that shouldn't have been dug.

message 89: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments Wow. The world would have been great if gore was prez. But hey like van Goh once said:

"Destruction is the first step to creation."

So maybe our nation needed a wake up call, and now we have Obama!

message 90: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) I think the way he talks does him in. I really do. That is a big reason people think that Bush is stupid.

But hey, there are uncharasmatic smart people out there! plenty of 'em.

message 91: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments yeah. Have any of you guys seen the debate from 1994 when he was running for govener?

OMG HE SUNDED SO SMART SO CLEAR AND SOO...GOOD!

It was weird.

message 92: by Kenny (new)

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments LOL. "maybe our country needed a wake up call, then OBAMA".

Wow, I couldn't have put it better than that...

message 93: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments Tanks!

But really Obama is teh best thing that shappened to this country in a LONG time.

message 94: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments well if we voted him on so he could finish the war, that's what he's trying to do, so again, WHY THE F*** ARE YOU COMPLAINING???

and about iraq, let me remind you that the rest of the world also though they had weapons too
he wasn't the only one

and if he REALLY wanted to lie, he might as well just put some nuclear weapons down and said "HEY! I found them!"

message 95: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) LOL! that gave me a funny mental image. Not as funny as the "Look! It's an antelope!" thing in lit class earlier today, but still funny.

message 96: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments LOL. yeah they fooled EVEYODY!

but now the rest of sa wrld LOVES US!!
YAY AYAY AYAYAYAYAYAY!!!

GEWFWAIJF~~~~~~!!!

message 97: by Kenny (new)

Kenny (kjamesmobile) | 905 comments Dianna, maybe you should wait a week before commenting... You sound kind of Post-Menstrual-ish. Seriously, chill out!

When I said Wow, I couldn't have put it better myself, it was not in a complaining way.

"Destruction is the first step to creation."

See? Destruction to me was our failing economy... What comes after Destruction, Diana (don't think to hard... I don't want you to hurt yourself...)? That would be the CREATION part. Thus, Obama came into this. I wasn't complaining at all. Merely stating that Obama is here to rebuild our economy and world back up... So jeez, take a breather and analyze the situation before you flip out in a wild, immature tantrum!

You've already called me a B****, and now this... I don't think I am going to take much more, girl. Sorry, but I am going to start asking for apologies from now on.

message 98: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments haha pre menstrual.

HAHAHA!!!

But Kenny if she IS....shes gunna rip ur throat out via the internet.

message 99: by Kenny (new)
