I read the first one and was hooked. I loved the characters and went on to read all of the series and the ones written from Currans POV. Really great humor and interesting challenges.

I liked the concept, but it was a bit slow for me at least at the beginning, but i've come to expect that from Urban Fantasy books - i have the next one in the pile, but like always, too many books, too little time
I liked the ones from Curran's POV cause in the books you don't really get much insight into his brain.
I loved this book and the series. It's one of the few Urban Fantasy books that is rather truly unique world - it's so very unlike any other books in the genre.I also like Kate, she's strong, independent and lacks a lot of the foolishness and Spunky Agency that's so common in the genre
Great series! I am another one that was hooked from the start. Kate is a strong character with a lot of depth and the series has a lot of great banter.
I enjoyed the series up until a certain point. I cannot finish the latest book. It's getting repetitive and boring.
The series was fantastic, however the first book was rough. It was only through persistence and stubbornness that I made it through Magic Bites. I consider this book as a sort of a crucible. Good things await on the other side, but making it through can be a pain. Magic Bites sort of dumps you into the complicated world described above with very little explanation. I was initially confused by the magic/technology waves, and I was annoyed by Kate. She fell into the classic, over used to-balsy-for-her-own-good Urban Fantasy female stereo type. She mouthed off, picked fights, and generally acted like a fool most of the first book. The book also moved VERY slowly. Like I didn’t feel really engaged until 75%.The rest of the series was just amazing though. Kate develops as a character, the pace picks up, the world building continues to be completely fantastic. I wholeheartedly agree that Kate + Curran is pure yummie goodness. They rank on my favorite couples list as well.
I loved the whole series and cant wait for more maybe some baby curran's to protect.I read all the books one after the other, which i do not normally do, but I just needed more. For me the style and story was perfect
This Series has become one of my current favorites to read. Kate is a great female hero.
Curran is well.. Curran. I haven't decided what I think about him. Seems a little ridged, not much character growth with him.
Speaking of growth ... I would like to see more growth in the story line in the 'all one big family' aspect to the pack, they seem a bit too petty and violent for a healthy community. Not much love there.
I would also like to see growth, or at least some redeeming traits, in the 'people' unless their sole purpose is to be the 'bad' guys.
There are many ways this series can continue, but in my mind, if more books are planned it would be nice to see some side stories developing that help explain and round out the larger community.
You have a whole city population (let alone each subgroup) which if tapped into by the authors could offer up more of diversity and build alliances towards the final conflict (between Kate and her Bio Dad).
Also I feel that there tends to be too much black and white thinking in the descriptions of the subgroups, No one is all bad or all good.
I feel that sometimes in order to 'wrap things up' we get a short 'they were bad so its all good' or 'this is the way it should be the end'
You know what, I am terrible at writing reviews, because they come out more down then I mean.
I really do like this series, it is cotton candy at the fair kind of fun to read.
I like the 'fight the good fight'.
I LOVE THIS SERIES! Seriously, I've read each book 3 times, already, and still keep laughing out loud on the funny parts. The romance was well paced, none of the characters rushed into things, since the had trust issues, and it would be expected a little bit of mistrust from both of them. Kate is an incredible heroine, who knows all her strenghs and weaknesses, and Curran evokes some kinds of feelings in the reader that are better not mentioned here... High praises for the author(s?)!!!! Please don't let this series die!!

Besides, it's really short, so it won't take much of your time. You'll like it!
I finished "magic Bites" yesterday, and i really liked the story and the characters. Cant wait to read the next ones.
I love this series. It took me awhile to finish it. Like the other reader stated it was rough. But I am so glad that I stayed with it. This series in my opinion is underrated. Love the world build and it's different take on vampires. And Curran... Really must I say anymore of that sexy alpha.
i love the series i keep reading them there's a new book out called magic graves but i havn't read it yet

I read 'Questionable Client' and really liked the writing style and Kate Daniels. So I checked out
. It was slow but I pushed through and it turned out pretty good. I am flying through the series and I am on the third book already in less than a week. I was thrilled to finally have found a book with a black heroine. Not that her ethnicity matters but I assumed that from the cover but she isn't on any of the other covers. Oh well, still a good series.
