Kristylomax This book has a lot to do with adoption, although it may be weird adoption, it's still the same thing. One of the boys has always known he was adopted and the other boy just found out. Jonah, who has always known he was adopted, is searching for his identity even though his family, eve his annoying sister have said that know matter what his birth parents are like, that won't change who he is. They won't love him any less and he won't look any differently than he does now. He understands what they mean and mostly agrees with them, but he still feels like his birthparents are part of his identity. So my question is, can learning new information about where you came from so late in life really change anything about you?

MizziQ I think it can change how you want to act. Either trying to NOT do what your biological parents do or be like them. But I don't think it will change you very much as far as how think generally of yourself or how you think of others.

I think it would vary tho, depending, on the parents and how they react and whether or not the kid has any grudges or not.

So long story short, I think it would effect only your prospective of your birth parents--which you would expect. Well that was fun, I must be pretty tired. :) I loved this book but the adoption thing for me was a bit too far fetched. Besides that it is a favorite.
