AHHH!!! She SPOILED it for you!?!!?!?

Marie Sirius! He is my favorite character out of them all! He demonstrated loyalty and friendship in everything he did. He was always so encouraging to Harry and entrusted Harry with knowledge. He never held back! Awww... I was soo sad when he died and kept thinking he would somehow return from the veil.

Now the better question is why Percy didn’t sacrifice himself for Fred. This would have redeemed what a awful brother he had been... just saying!

Ellie But Percy didn't have the opportunity to. I mean, it was just like: "BAM" and he's dead.

SO FRED!!!

Ellie Why not Sirius?!

Fred.

Cody Kes Fred. Hands down. Sirius was just the type of character that made you sad to see go, but Fred was the type of character that made you laugh so hard that his death made you cry. So... Fred. And I can't believe she left the Holy brother behind. I liked George too, but it would've been easier if he'd died instead of Fred.

Both of them...but I'll miss Sirius more. :,(

LOL! XD

❀ Sariah ❀ I didn't even feel sad, really, when Sirius died, but I CRIED when Fred died!

Avani Fred. How can one possibly go on without their twin, brother, and/or son? I felt terrible for George and his whole family.

Danica i knew Sirius was going to die. He was too loveable. I didn't expect Fred so it was worse.

Totally agree. And yes, you're right, I didn't think of a spin off series about the twins o.O that would have been a great idea. Rowling could have made a great project with thar, but nooooo, she let Mr Weasley survive a d killed a twin! So heartless

Merve Well for me, I miss Fred more, because he was there since the beginning of the books and became my favorite character right away. As for Sirius he ade his first appearance in the 3rd book, and first as a villain - a false one of course. But somehow I couldn't connect so much with him. In the 4th book he was almost the entire time absent. It was only tbe 5th book in which he appeared more often. I liked Sirius more for his appearance as a dog :D

AlexKw Most definitely Sirius. He grew up with a family he hated, lost his best friend around age 20, got sent to a literal soul sucking prison for 12 years, finally escapes and everyone in the wizarding world is looking for him for the next 2 years which makes leaving Grimmuald place next to impossible. Barely sees his godson, must constantly see Snape who are enemies, and finally dies. Hard life.

Am i the only that got of Fred dying years ago? He was funny and of course i feel sad when i think of how George and the Weasleys felt afterward and trying to go on with normal without him. But after i read the deathly hallows, i was more emotional over Dobby.

Leah Oh, wow, I don't know. They were both very different characters and I loved them both. Fred was young, funny, a good friend, and had a lot to look foreward to in his future. Sirius was like a father to Harry, and he tried so hard to prove that good triumphs over evil in the end. Character wise, I miss them both equally.

However, I think that when it comes down to it, I missed Sirius more because his death happened earlier in the books, so I dwelled on his death longer. He was also the only main character that died in The Order of the Pheonix, while Fred's death occured when a LOT of people were dying, so I was crying over others as well.

Fred. I never really had a connection with Serius.

Ariana Sirius will always be my favorite. I loved Fred too, but I will really really miss Sirius.

Shut Up, I'm Reading. Sirius. Its a hard choice since I love them both so much

message 79: by MJ (new) - rated it 5 stars

MJ I am always waiting for Sirius to come back as a ghost! How could he leave Harry alone like that just when he'd found him.

benita I can't choose.

Norah Alsultan Fred of course D": I was cry for a long time after I read this part T_T
I miss Sirius.. But not like Fred ؛-؛

Aliza Fred. I felt bad for Sirius and was upset when he died but I felt like he could never really be happy and whole again after so long in Azkaban. Fred and George on the other hand were a team and were always the most fun in the books

Hannah Kelly Both :)

Katie BOTH of their deaths were AWFUL!! But I liked Fred better...

Allison I loved them both and the mere mention of either death makes me tear up and want to curl up into a ball to ball my eyes out.

Tana Lovegood of Dumbledore's Army✞~ Rogers/America FRED! I got tears in my eyes looking back and thinking about it! Poor George! I be the could still hear Fred since his ear is still up there with him XD

message 87: by Ruby (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ruby Fred. Both characters were important friends/figures for Harry, but I'd say that Sirius was a grown man who died a noble death fighting for what he and the good characters believed in. At times he was a little reckless, and sometimes he was rude, but I felt that he made his own choices and he chose to go to the ministry that day to fight for what was right. He went up against Death Eaters who he was more or less equal in skill in, fighting until he could fight anymore.

I felt terrible when Fred died because he Weasley family was Harry's support and they made up his closest friends (besides Hermione). Seeing the family abruptly ripped apart was truly awful. Fred was just a kid, and he wasn't fighting against equals: he was fighting against Death Eaters much more experienced than him in the dark arts.

So both deaths were terrible, but I felt worse about Fred's because he was so young and represented an important part of Harry's life- friends and love and support.

James Fred, without a doubt.

holland I will forever miss Sirius. Mostly because he was the closest thing Harry had to a family, and that time he said to Harry "After all this is over, we'll be a proper family", which never happened. Oh, and when he died how Harry thought that he was just hiding and would come back out, then he remembered that Sirius never keeps him waiting. I think I'm going to go cry in a corner now....
