O.O OH MY GOSH, HOW EMBARRASSING!!!!

Rowling sure knows how to shock people...I never imagined anyone would die when I had started reading the series. I guess all the killings and dying had started with Sirius, and in the Deathly Hallows, it just broke all the limits :(
BOTH but ZOMG FRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if yu have a look at my profile yu'll see my thoughts on this

I agree! So sad that they left their baby behind! Sirius left a legacy to harry who knew where he came from, Fred left behind George and all the other Weasleys, but Lupin and Tonks left a baby that had no idea the sacrifice his parents ultimately made for him.
In the movie they never talked about the baby either!

Yeah it was
Yeah it was

Tonks and Lupin did not get a good death scene.
Did anyone think it was sad that all of the creators of the Marauder's Map died prematurely? Or at least didn't reach old age?

I agree. I think Sirius died in a way he would want to die; going down fighting the evils of the world, protecting Harry. I don't think he wanted to die so YOUNG, but I think the manner of his death makes it easier to swallow. The fact that Fred was reveling in his brother Percy making a joke for once and then was GONE in the blink of an eye.. that's heartbreaking. I always liked Fred more than George, because he was the more outgoing twin. George is going to have to figure out how to function without his outgoing side. That is devastating.

I agree. I think Sirius died ..."
I always thought Fred was the more joking one and George was more considerate.

Why Sirius? He was accused of murdering his best friend, he got locked away for years and still had to live in hiding when he was free.
Why Fred? With George, he added so much humor to the book, the two were going to start a new life, AND HE DIED LAUGHING.

but i have to say, i think fred cut me a lot deeper. maybe because there was already so much death in that book?

Sniffle. Sniffle. I <3 them both....

Liked about that?! Well, I suppose, in a twisted, horrible way....it is kind of nice. :'(

However, if I had to choose, I believe I would miss Sirius more. Fred has another half, so to speak, to keep him alive. George acted so much like him that if you find it neccesary, you can sort of look to him for humor (once again, not that I won't miss Fred or don't believe he was a great character). Sirius just played such a big part in all of the movies, and you have no choice but to fall in love with him in Prisoner of Azkaban. He looks over Harry and provides him with a sort of fatherly figure that he never had, and he can give Harry memories of his father that he may not have otherwise. Harry truly treasures his relationship with Sirius, and I guess that's why I treasured him so much as well.

And Fred, Oh my poor Fred. He was always there with George cracking jokes to make situations lighter.

However, Fred was wonderful, too. I think it's true that George fulfills the same purpose, but I feel so mean saying that. Fred and George had different personalities, even if they were hard to see. Fred was more "in-charge" and was the more daring one. I have a twin sister, and she feels both like my sister and my best friend.
I don't know, but I think Sirius. It was so sad losing him, because he gave Harry that sense of belonging and parental love he had never had. Even if the teachers at Hogwarts cared for him, and he was part of a community, it wasn't the same. Harry was acutely aware that he was both an orphan and "the chosen one" while he was there, whereas with Sirius, he was just a normal kid.

But frankly when Sirius died I felt sad for Harry...how (almost)everyone he loves end up dead.. :(
But Fred's death was so sudden and..unexpected that i actually stopped reading the book for a while...
Sirius: When Harry found out that Sirius didn't help kill his Parents, and he offered Harry a home I was SO SO SO SOOO happy! Because someone still loved Harry- He had a family. Then when he was killed I was seriously angry. WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE!!! I felt so upset and angry. Poor Harry.
Fred: WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?!?! I mean him and George never failed to make me laugh, when the books were becoming a little bit dark the twins ALWAYS maded me laugh. I felt upset for all the Weaslys. Fred + George were loved by everyone, and when one was taken naway it was weird to imagine George with ut his brother.
Don't ask me to choose because I couldn't. Neither of them should have died. It was almost as unfair as killing Dobby.
Dobby a free house-elf <3

I screamed in the middle of my library lesson when Fred died. I felt worse after he died than Sirius but I loved both the characters.
