With all of the electronic options for reading growing, and the interface expanding beyond the print versions and changing the way we even think about novels and books, we still need bookstores or perhaps just stores that sell and share and provide books for browsing.

i got that email, too. opted out since the closest b&n is about an hour away. don't you have to pay for a b&n discount card? the email said it would honor cards for premium- or whatever they are called- border's members. our border's is going to be a BAMM- expected to open around november, i think. i've only been in one BAMM- it was down south and they had a HUGE religious section. is that typical of a BAMM? or was it just the location?

it sounded like your borders plus would just transition into a b&n card. at least that's what it sounded like to me, but not sure. have you heard when BAMM is opening?
