October is National Diabetes Awareness Month. Read a book with a sweet title, a character bakes, any character that has diabetes, etc.
The Chick and the Dead by Casey Daniels (Baking scene)
October is also Computer Learning Month. Read an ebook of any length.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (I am actually reading this on my "100 Classic Books" for Nintendo DS. Should have it finished tonight.)
October 1 is International Frugal Fun Day. Readers choice, but it must a book you already own, nothing new.
The Cat, the Quilt and the Corpse by Leann Sweeney (So glad I had the first two books of this series already in the TBR pile)
October 7th - Briansgirl/Kate's Wedding Day!! Read a book with a wedding (or bride/groom) in the title, on the cover, or a wedding takes place in the book.
Gone with the Witch by Annette Blair (Opens with a wedding)
October 30th is Mischief Night and October 31st is Halloween. Read a book with a Halloween theme, or a black or orange cover.
Never Been Witched by Annette Blair (Ends with a Samhain celebration)
