What do you think of the Twilight Haters group?
Vendanti, your statement about Lovers being the ones bugging haters, is backhanded and irrelevent to what you went on to say. It is also further from the truth had you actually read some of our topics you might have found that to be true. I respect you stating your opinions, however, what I dont respect is you sprinkling your submission with insults such as "You are the ones bugging them" and "It does not deserve this much fame". What makes you and expert on the subject on who is bothering who? And by your use of the words "you guys" your generalizing everyone(all lovers) into the catagory of who is bothering, and who is not.
As for your other remark, you state that Twilight does not deserve this much fame. You do not state "in my opinion" or "in my mind" you simply say that it doesnt deserve it. Not only do you decide who is at fault but, evidently, you also dictate what is deserving and what is not?
If you truly believe that we are bothering the haters, other than vise versa, you are not only sadly mistaken, but ignorant. You can rest assured, knowing that you have succeeded in irritating us. A lot of us's and we's since we are all the same to you Vedanti. I am being brutal here, because of your lack intuitivity. Please do your research. :(

Vedanti, thats why self-restraining lovers, dont bother trying to convince haters to stop bothering us. Porn was added to our bookshelf, we removed it. We are reffered as mentally disabled, we ignore it. People enter the group and post topics for debating purposes only, we do not engage. Anti-Twilight polls are added, we dont touch them.
I am sure that you arent responsible for everyone on your side that acts out of control, so how can you assume that we are responsible for people on our side that are as well? We are over 3000 members, we can set some regulations, but eventually some people do come out.
I do not count all haters as people that do these disgusting things, nor do I expect there to be any formation. Stuff happens. Thats why I dont go into the haters group asking them why they dont like lovers. It's mute point, since we have lovers that dont like haters.

i agree people are allowed to there opinion, but they shouldn't come on our groups looking to piss us off and expect to not get there butt handed to them

well, if u are saying twi-haters cannot read, then they can't just say they hate twilight cuase they can't read it. that is like judging a book by it's cover. and it is rude and isulting to people who do love twilight for them to say, the books u read are terrible and stupid, when they haven't read them. OR IF THEY HAVE! it could make someone fell bad about what they read (if they take that crap seriously.) so when u invade, telling us the books we read are stupid and when we invade we defend it is equal. so u honestly have no right to say we are 100x more annoying. and why if u hate so much u have to make a big deal out of it, people who love it, love it, and they form groups to talk about something they love. when u waste talking about things u hate, where is the positivness in that? where is the joy? u all hate something so u go and take action and get more people who haven't read it yet to judge it by it's cover or make them feel bad so they feel the need to hate it. why?

Ok, verbal sparring...Not usually a good thing, I must say. There is a very nice debate group that has a twilight related folder, in which you can spar with anyone you want to. It has a collection of haters and lovers you can chat this over with. Because honestly, this group is supposed to be no drama. A colorful debate is alright but, when there are a lot of caps lock and insults to intelligence involved, its best to revert to an arena.
We do not remove haters from this group, but you need to behave yourself Aline.
As far as the controlling of other lovers thing goes, we cant control all 3000 members in this group, it would be impossible. However, if you would like to appoint a lover moderator to your group that serves the purpose of toning down the posts from unruly lovers, you can do that. :)

Adding in my two cents.I run (as of this typing) the only Anti-Twilight Podcast on iTunes. Some of the comments here will be discussed, names and source not mentioned.
Aside from that, I went through this entire thread and I have to say I feel sorry for the casual fans. I have said many times on my Podcast that I would like to believe that the rabid Twilight fanbase has some degree of "oh jeez, that sounded bad..." recognition.
But judging from the fact that, if I based my life off this thread, I don't have a life, I am retarded (I was diagnosed with Asperger's about 11 or 12 years ago,) I am a loser, I have no taste, and that I should die.
Really, don't you Twilight fans see why some people are turned off? They look at how diehard the fans are and go "Oh Jesus, I don't wanna get tangled up in that."
I'm a Twilight fan, but i do see why some people are turned off. Some people turn it into an obsession.
yeah that's true maybe that's what gets twilight haters pissed off thinking the books aren't that big of a deal and that we blow it out of proportion. but when they getting nasty and start calling us nasty names that's when there getting out of control!!

Bella is torn because she does love Jacob but then Edward is back. She feels like being friends with Jake is leading him on and to a certain extent she has because she uses him to get over the pain of Edward leaving her. If you have ever loved to men at once you know that it can and is not only possible but also very difficult. When keeping one means losing the other its a hard decicion to make. (Yes I have been through it).
Stephenie is not finishing Midnight Sun right now, not because the draft was leaked but because she only gave the draft to a select few people and she feels betrayed. I can understand her point of veiw. Nothing is worse than having someone you trust stab you in the back.
Overall yes the Twilight series may be a little fluffy and believe me as a 33 year old I have read my fair share of extremly intense deep novels and fluff a like, but for whatever reason it makes people feel happy and is a great excape from a world of war, hunger and despair.
