I've been reading romance on and off since my mum introduced me to Georgette Heyer around age 13, but in the last six months or so I've been really getting into romance (especially since we've been in a really strict lockdown here- I'm all for the escapism right now). Up until now I've been mostly reading historical, but I'm getting more into contemporary as well, and hoping I'll find lots of recs for both in this group :)

Hey RRRC, just wanted to drop in and wave hello to everyone! I'm not new to the group, but I've been on a long reading hiatus. I think I was last active on here back in 2016? (Mods, jeez! You guys are amazing!!) I went back to school to get my Bachelor's degree, and my GOD, the stress. Between working full time and getting that done, reading for pleasure just fell to the wayside.

Buuuut, I have finally accomplished that goal, and it took almost no time for me to start burring my nose in books again. This was always one of my favorite groups, so I know I'll start getting active here again. Baby steps, I'm sure. But I'm so stoked to be back and I love seeing what everyone is reading and enjoying!!

Hi. I just joined today. I love books. All of them that allow me to escape into a world that has an HEA or HFN. I've been reading romance since middle school...can I get an amen for Nancy Drew and Ned Nickerson? Slow burn angst that kills by degrees.

I moved on to the more risque authors of Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele in high school. I've been a romance addict ever since. And indie publishing has been my own personal version of heaven. So many great stories, great authors, great series. AHHH! I love them all.

I used Covid to best use and decided to become a romance author as well. So far I've written and published 10 books (most are PNR RH, with two in the dark romance mafia billionaire genre) in 2020. I'm hoping to continue to write.

I'm also wanting to get all up in the reader challenges. I had no idea this was even a thing, but thank Sweet Suzie it is! If you've got some favorite romance authors across all subgenres, hit me up. Although, I do ask that they are written in English. Thanks!

I'd love to make some bookish friends and discuss books, add more book boyfriends to my lists, and travel to wonderful and far off lands in my head. Shoot me a friend request if you'd like.

Ive always been the lone wolf ever since primary school, usually the girl who spent her time in the school library during break times or lost in a book in the school passages. Now at 21, I still classify myself as the lone wolf but my wolf pack has somewhat grown to maybe 4 or 5 other members. Still prefer losing myself in a romance or ever a rom-com.
