Welcome to the group Moriah! Sounds like you'll fit in nicely :D

Did you join in time to get the latest newsletter? It was just released... about 9 hours ago :D

Goodo - the newsletter just highlights the current monthly and quarterly challenges so you should be right if you are already amongst it :D

Thanks so much, Jane. It's a good challenge!

I have been a Goodreads member for a couple of years but have mainly been a "lurker" I love historical romances and mainly read Regency, which I also write. My all time fav author is Madeline Hunter closely followed by Lisa Kleypas. I also love the Georgian series by Elizabeth Holt. I cut my teeth on the oldies like Heyer, Holt, and Cartland. I would really like to discover some new authors as I am a voracious reader. My thanks to whoever put together such a cool group! Cheers, Genevieve

And you can thank Yz for this group! We all love it and spend waaay too much time here ;)

I've been happily participating in the Pass the Parcel challenge and realised I have never actually introduced myself!!
SO
My name is Sally and I am a married grandmother who lives in Australia.
I have been a goodreads member for years and years now - and a challenge addict.
I am fairly eclectic in my reading - but am happy when reading a nice paranormal romance (or paranormal cosy mystery) - the fluffier the better. I don't mind a touch of eroticism in my stories, not at all prudish, but don't like characters who sleep around, I'm not talking about someone who has a few long term relationships that haven't turned out, I am talking about a different boy or girl every night treat them badly type thing - even if they do find true love and settle down. not a biggie really, just not my thing.
I have recently discovered a few alien/human romances which are a new sub-genre for me. So far no tentacles involved - LOL!!!

Welcome Sally ~ I know we've chatted already :D ...I can point you in the way of tentacles however they are MM romances ;)
Hope you are having fun in PtP and yes, make sure you look around at the other challenges :D

Welcome to the group, Genevieve! It's much more fun to participate rather than lurk--but we're happy you've been enjoying RRRC. I also have fond memories of the gothic novels of yesteryear. My favorite was always Mary Stewart, with Heyer a close second. But you'll find lots of interesting authors here, with many varieties of the genre mentioned. Have fun!

How nice that you're already participating and enjoying the group! I've recently discovered paranormal romances myself and have been enjoying them immensely. Not sure why I thought I wouldn't like them, but I'm thinking maybe the idea of tentacles was putting me off! (Thanks for that image in my head!) You'll find lots of other challenge addicts here as well. Enjoy!

Welcome Emmy! Hope you find plenty more escapism here :D I know it's my fav way to relax!!

Will now check out the YouTube you posted :D

That video is weird!! LOL

Welcome Elvin. It's good to know there are guys that like to read romance :)

I just joined, I'm hoping that some challenges will give me the push I need to find some new books to read.

I joined this group recently, and I am excited to talk books and make friends. Romance is my all-time favorite genre, so I think I am in the right place. :)
