Good Morning everyone! New to the group and excited to get started!

Hi, I'm Jennifer from Oklahoma, I want to find some new authors in romance who don't rely on drama but on the relationship between the characters and how and why they like each other. It seems like all the new novels I'm finding have guys who are perfect and take care of all the woman's problems. I find that boring and to me its a bit creepy, I want to know what the guys motivation is, so both perspectives is a must or it comes of creepy.

lol I'm also very direct, as you can tell. I can't wait to get started as soon as I'm out of school for the summer!

I sort of missed the introduction bit and threw myself head first into the challenges. Guess that was what caught my eye first...
Any way... I'm MyzanM, bookaddict and mother of 3. And in my spare time I'm a teacher. ;-)
I read a lot, both in my profession and privately. I read almost every genre, mostly some kind of romance, but also sci-fi, fantasy, memoirs/biographies, YA and of course educational books and books within the subjects I teach.
I joined Goodreads in March, but I have been lurking around longer than that. This group seems perfect for me because I need to challenge my self to think through my reading a bit more. I'm a speed reader and often have several books going at the same time.
That was a bit about me. Looking forward spending time here and to get to know new friends.

My name is Mary and I live in Texas. Yep right where they had the tornadoes last week. Man, it rained so hard. The tornadoes actually happened across town from us. We have really had bizarre weather this year. I usually have the air conditioner on around mid April this year not until mid May. That never happens. Oh man!! it is raining again!!

I have one daughter and two grandsons. They are my life.

I love to read. I can't wait to jump into some of the challenges and things going on around here.

No unfortunately the weather isn't over for us. Right now it is 76 degrees and we are looking for more rain to hit late afternoon. I can't remember a time in the 40+ years I have lived here that I don't need the air conditioner on. Normally, we would be looking at 95+ degrees. Yep it gets hot.. I just don't want anymore loss of life due to the storms we are having.
