As Kat said Audra, your TBR is more likely to grow than shrink, but the challenges do help you clear some books that can be easily overlooked.
And we all need guilty pleasures in life Eden - whatever manner, shape or form! ;)

I am Aditi...
I love to read romance novels ...my usual favourites are historical romances but I can love pretty much any type of romance if it is written correctly!!
Looking for some recent recommendations on this group!!

I think once you find the right books to read Stacey (ie that you enjoy) its a really hard addiction to face life without ;)
I agree Aditi - a well-written book with a good plot can overcome a lot of preconceived preferences :)
No problems Emmee - I'm sure you'll find some new books here... maybe too many ;) All out TBR piles get out of control very quickly once you start the challenges and trawling through member shelves...

Hahaha! That's what I'm hoping for. I'm a really picky reader so hopefully this will open my eyes to some new romance books

The minimum number for the monthly challenge is 3 books. The options are 3, 5, 8 and 10 books.
The other option is to go with a quarterly challenge, since you have longer to read with more flexibility, and they also have levels (generally 5, 10, 15 and 20+). A new quarterly will be starting in mid December, so that could work for you as well :)

Hello Jane and thank you! I will ease into the december challenge with 3 books. It is GREAT to be back!

Thanks MountainKat, I hated to leave but I would rather be here and be active.

I started reading home and family romance through HQN and now I read just about any genre and theme. I love romance!

BTW, the challenges aren't usually limited to romance and you can read anything that fits.

My name is Abhishek. I have recently started reading and got hooked up to it like anything. Romance have been a genre which I have always found myself attracted to, and this attraction is not just limited to books. :)
And hence here I am in this group to find out some good books I can read.

Good luck!

Thanks Jane!

Anyways, I first read romance at around 15 and I've never looked back~

So a bit about me... I'm from Australia. I've just given up one of my jobs (piece of advice - don't work two jobs you'll have the money for new books but won't ever get the chance to read them) and now that life has calmed down some I'm staring at an out of date tbr list and no idea of where to start or what I've missed out on...
The answer of course is reading challenges :)

As I recall you were last in Qld - still there?

NSW?

Yup - stinking hot but hopefully a storm this afternoon. But Armidale is such a lovely town and region! We are looking at heading south. Just need to find the right property :)
