Question about Monster Challenge for 2012:For Miscellaneous challenges, can we count challenges that started in 2011 but end in 2012? Or do the chall's need to be only in 2012?
For the 2012 challenge, you may only use the challenges you start after Jan 1st.
I'm assuming, but wanted to double check, that any mini-challenges over the 3 required can go in miscellaneous?

Being a group dedicated to challenges, it seems only fitting to make a challenge of the challenges themselves. Since we only have three months left of this year this challenge is an abbreviated version. (The Full Version will be available January 1, 2012.)
~ To accomplish this challenge you will need to complete ALL tasks in each category.
~Once a challenge is complete (whether a TCF Challenge or one for another group, you must provide the link to the Challenge thread as well as your completed list.
~Feel free to start your own thread in the Log section to keep track of the challenges you complete.

Not sure where to ask this question. Thinking about signing up for next year's monster challenge. Does the reading have to all be done in 2012? Some of the challenges can start in 2011 but will not be finished until 2012.
You're not the first to ask. I did say only those started after Jan 1st but let me think about it and talk with the other mods.

Question about the yearly challenges.Since I haven't been a member of this group long enough to complete a yearly challenge by the end of the year, can I use a yearly challenge from another group for this year.
You can use any challenge you've done this year. It does not have to be limited to this group.
Can non-reading challenges be used for the mini category? I just need one more to finish that category, but I don't think I can fit two more books in, so I was thinking about doing the Based on a Book non-reading challenge instead. Would that work?
For this year's challenge, that is fine with me! :)
Almost thought I wouldn't make it, but all done 15/15 complete with a few days to spare!
