Scott | 10068 comments I would think that falls under softcover.

Richard Gombert (rgombert) | 21 comments Doesn't softcover = permabound? That's how I've been using it.
How do you distinguish permabound?

vicki_girl | 2764 comments Any book format can be added to a given book. There is a pre-populated list where users can select from the most popular bindings. If none of these fit, there is a link to the right of the drop-down for 'other'. The 'other' field is a free-form field where you can type anything you want (within reason).

For Goodreads, Softcover = Paperback = Trade Paperback. When I see 'softcover' I usually change it to Paperback. 'Permabound' would be typed-in using the 'other' field as explained above.
