So we've chosen to opt out of one of the novels we chose for October - "One Day" by David Nicholls is not a book that we felt was going to spark the kind of discussion we wanted to provoke in this group. We will still stick with "Nude Blue" and are open to other suggestions. Thanks!

Several suggestions for another book for October reading...

"The Outlander" By Gil Adamson (not the same as "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon which is our upcoming book for November. That could be confusing I know, but they both look so good!)

The Outlander

"The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective and a World of Literary Obsession" By Allison Hoover Bartlett

"The Birth House" By Ami McKay

The Birth House

What are everyone's thoughts?

I think we should do "The Man Who Loved Books Too Much" because I already have it on order from the library ;)

Charmaine (wistad) I'm ready to go with "The Man Who Loved Books Too Much". I'll probably start it within a day or two.
