Emily C. What is your interpretation of the covers of the three books in The Hunger Games Trilogy?
For me, I always see the Hunger Games cover like the mockingjay pin resembles the stuck people of the districts and the capitol is like those circles around the pin, like the Capitol is taking over.
Catching fire is like the mockingjay (the districts) is firing up, or planning a rebellion.
For Mockingjay, the the districts are free (the mockingjay is flying) and the capitol has broken.

Lea (Peeta's #1 Fangirl!) Oh..cool interpretation!! Like I have never thought of it that way!! It's so true..I've wondered why the MJ cover was blue and what you said was true..

Misty I always thought the interpretation was each stage of the mockingjay, (katniss.) On the first on it is still a pin because she hasnt started the change yet. On Catching Fire, it on fire because the idea of the mockingjay has been lit and Katniss is starting to get the idea. And on Mockingjay it is flying because Katniss has finally excepted her being the mockingjay and is letting the idea soar free.
I like your interpretation, it really makes sense, but that what i always thought.
