If, in fifty years or so, they made a remake of the series, would you watch it?

That gives me an idea! Rachel, you are a genius!

Same here..

Julia No. Never. Nuh uh. No. Nope. Nooooooo. No. uh uh. No. NO.
The books were good enough, all the movies were great (except the 6th one... they messed that one up.....), but if there was a remake, I wouldn't even let my children see it. Or my grandchildren. No. No one does Harry Potter like Daniel Radcliffe. And no one could ever be the beautiful Weasley twins but James & Oliver Phelps. No.

Selena Gomez as Luna? No Way!!

Cassidy NOOOOO! They could never make the movies any better than they are now, it would just mess them up. Honestly, I couldn't see them any other way. Plus, in fifty years I'll be 63, it's very doubted that I'll have any interest in Harry Potter then.

Allie Depends but I was happy with most of these movies

Ali Only if they learn from their mistakes from these movies. I can't stomach the current movies (one heck of a trainwreck). I actually want a remake as long as they're going to improve upon the awful ones we have.

Vymletoza YES!! why do you think they would wreck it? It's quite bad this time. I think they will make it better. although some characters would be extremely missing: Snape (Alan Rickman FTW. Everyone else will be worse as Snape. But you can't do anything about that, can you?), Ron (just that. I thought he played Ron really good. but well, didn't have frecles and was too short, but I love his voice. maybe he can play Arthur next time :)), Hermione (Emma is a great actress I think). next are the twins, emma Thompson, mcGonnagal, Umbridge was great done too, Neville. that's it.

other than actors I don't belive they would spoil the movies (of coure they can't be done by disney). at worst they would be as bad as now. I mean, the shoelaces scene, Ginny (!!), the first movie (as for visual effects - Neville falling from his broom was really bad I daresay), Harry's eyes, the pink dress, the her-mee-nii scene in the hospital was so terribly awkward, .... there are just too much things I hated in the movies. of course, some scenes they added were good, but even the new series could come with something.

I would definitely watch it!

Arwyn definitly not

Noshin Choudhury I would wach it just to see why they felt the need to remake it. Although i would love if how recently they made one of my favorite movies of all time - The Lion King in 3D and put it out again they were to upgrade the movies 50 years down the line.

Abbey West I figure that in 50 years that they'll make something that will allow us to LIVE in the Harry Potter universe. We won't need a remake.

ȘᎯɱᎯɴτħᎯ Maybe, I just would hate to see a different person taking the place that Rupert, Daniel, and Emma portrayed so well.

Michael If they do, and I expect that they will, I wouldn't mind them exploit some of J.K. Rowling's alternative storylines, instead of making a simple remake.

Michele I don't think I'll be alive in 50 years. I'd probably watch it if I were to still be alive though....

Jacob Later years=More realistic effects and graphics. So yeah, why not? Let's just hope they put EPIC Quidditch matches in them! :D

Sohail Keegan No. I stopped watching the movies after I saw the mess that was made of the Prisoner of Azkaban. I guess it's because I expect the movies to be faithful to the books.

HSLFP I would love to see it :)

Jennifer Dupriest I would never watch it... I love the ones made already too much (no one can portray Ron Weasley as awesome as Rupert Grint!!! Nor can anyone play Hermione Granger or Bellatrix, or even Draco Malfoy like the actors they had playing them now) :)

✿ℎazℯℓ - thℯ ℛock Cℎick ℱairy✿ NO. Daniel Radcliffe will always be my harry potter...

Shewanda Pugh I don't want a remake. I want more books! I feel abandoned. :-(

Tyler i will be dead.

Jessica McCollum Who says itll be a movie or tv series?
maybe another book series
maybe depending on how it sounds

Valerie I'm actually surprised it hasn't been made into a cartoon and or tv show yet. We may just get to see the remake in our lifetimes. They remake everything else. I just hope they wait at least 20 years or more.

Chris Definitely - but in 50 years I'll be 100 so.....!

Kim In 50 years hopefully people will learn to be a little more original and stop stealing and remaking beautiful works of art that was fine to begin with. You don't see anyone remaking the Lion King! I hope the HP series gets reMASTERED instead.

Give Disney time...

george ☽ I would probably watch it cos I wouldnt wanna judge it until Ive seen it

Kamalika Talukdar a phenomenon such as harry potter need not become another bolly-style remake disaster.its the best in its originality.beside after fifty years or so,do you guys really think anybody would fit the characters perfectly?I'll watch it if I'm alive by then or i get seriously mental

Eleanor Katherine I think I would watch it, purely out of curiosity, but I don't think that anything could EVER beat the original films. I also think that no American actors (no offence meant!) could take the place of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint etc. And another thing - if they were remade in America, they wouldn't have the authentic English weather and setting!
