Character Self-Chat

Me: Sooo...... is the "(I'm losing what I don't deserve)" from their new album, A Thousand Suns??? XD

My favorite is
When life, leaves you blind.
Love, keeps us kind...
And so on. =)
Me: I have decided: I'm going to be the strict mod that deletes spam and approves characters and chastises noobs. *sniff* Ivi would be so proud.
Me: I like how you recycled characters. I'll make one as soon as I get some math done.
Me: Anyone have a good idea for a power? I'm clueless, but this is normal.
Me: Ooh... transforming as in shape-shifting?

Me: ;) Okay. You post first?

Me: This has to go somewhere for people who want to know how to expand charries:
First off, make everything look nicer by putting a space immediately after each colon and period. For that matter, put a period at the end of each sentence. This includes paragraphs. Put spaces in between things outside of parenthesis and the parenthesis.
Next, you need to make everything more detailed. For instance, tell us how much she weights. What color is her hair? Does she always have a smile on? Appearances are really important. But a personality fills in the blanks (your's is pretty good but it just needs to be properly spaced). Another pro tip: Make your character separate from her power. Don't make a light controller just like light and hate dark. Tell us other things about her. Expand the history. What is normal? Was her family rich or poor? How did she do in school? Ask yourself questions like that.
Finally, tell us what she can do with light. Right now, all I know is she has an affinity for it and can shoot bolts of it. Can she change the color of light? Can she make things glow? Can she make light brighter or darker? Give a few examples.

Me: I know, I'm just obligated to warn you :-) I warned everyone else with awesome powers not to godmod.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention: Huge difference between godmoding and powerplaying. Power playing is when you take over someone else's charrie, or tell someone how they are allowed to RP their charrie. Godmodding is just using your powers to become invincible.

Me: No worries at all. Sorry if I was a bit "Fine, but be on your best behavior." I'm a little stressed from approving charries. Newbs annoy me so much.
