Lynn I just downloaded this book onto my Kindle and started reading it. I'm loving every second of it. What are your thoughts on Anna Dressed in Blood?

Charlotte I read this book because it was a book club book. I don't normally read paranormal type stuff because it freaks me out. I loved this book and I recommend it to everyone. I am really excited for the second one to come out.

Christina Rod Its a good book. I can't wait to read the next one.

Lynn I had no idea that there was going to be a sequel! now I'm excited all over again :) I'm halfway finished this one and I can already tell that I'm hooked.

vasiliki yep!!totally loved it-now i can't wait for the sequel too!!:]

Elena I didn't know there was going to be a sequel!
Somehow, though I loved it, I figured it would've been better to just stop at this one.
I mean, you just made the big lovestory between Cas and Anna, and then made her "die" again..
I'm saying this because I expect the writer will introduce another romance for Cas if she writes a sequel, and I'm not sure I'll like that. ._.

Epiphany Brown I loved tis from the first sentance! wonderful.

As for the sequel I'm kind of where Elena is. Though I think, there may be a chance, that instead of a new romance they'll go looking for Anna in that other place. Still not sure if a sequel is warrented even then. This story seemed pretty wrapped up, just a little opening in case the author comes up with something great, but I am totally against sequels for the sake of sequels' money.

Lynn I have to agree, I also purchased this book thinking it wasn't a part of a sequel, trilogy or saga. Judging by how the book ended it sounds like Cas isn't ready to give up on Anna just yet and I hope that's the case because I might just stop reading if he falls in love with someone else. However, I absolutely loved these characters and I don't want to let them go just yet.

Experiment BL626 It was originally a stand-alone, not a series. But since the book was sooo popular by the publishers and ARC readers/reviewers that they demanded a sequel.

nightlyreadingheather I read it recently and I liked it, but did not LOVE it. I cannot even tell you a reason of why?

I did love the character of Anna and the spooky factor of the story.

Jennifer I really loved it! A bit of a different ghost story than I have read lately. I felt really into Cas and Anna because were both interesting and funny in their own ways. At first I pictured Anna super creepy like the girl from the ring and then later she is just driving around in a car like a normal girl LOL! And then the thing at the end when it eats the cat I'm like nooooo! Also what is Cas going to do and how is he going to get Anna out of that hole! I'm excited to read more!

Jennifer i finished it in about a day and half. could not put it down. could completely see the scenes layed out as i read it/felt like i was part of the book. can not WAIT for the 2nd book. hope there are a couple more after that one. planning on reading night circus or the name of the star - two books recommended if you liked anna dressed in blood.

Epiphany Brown Name of the star is on top of my TBR pile! Maureen Johnson is a literary queen.

Jinx Sapphire It was a good book. It really reminds me of the tv show "Supernatural".

message 15: by Lynn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lynn I thought the same exact thing! Being a fanatic for the show I absolutely was addicted to the story.

It was an amazing book and you can see the sequals front cover on goodreads. The sequel is called girl of nightmares

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Liliana Saquicela after reading this book i have become fasinated with ghost-romance stories!!! or anything that has ghost stories in them like The Name of the Star (Shades of London, #1) by Maureen Johnson and Hereafter (Hereafter, #1) by Tara Hudson

message 30: by Jen (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jen I love this book! :D
I actually chose this because I wanted to read something that's not part of a series.
I was totally wrong! But I liked it. Can't wait for the next one!

I think the second book will be released on August 2012.
HURRY UP!!!

Hahaha actually I did the same thing. I was looking for just a single book so I wouldn't end up spending so much money on a trilogy or saga but now I'm glad that there will be more because I fell in love with the characters.

Yeah! And it would have been devastating to just let ...
Oh you know! To just let it end that way!
I don't want to be a spoiler! Hahaha!

But still, I HATE WAITING!
That's the sad thing about reading a series. *sigh*

message 35: by Lynn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lynn I just looked it up and it's not expected to be out until August 7th! That seems so far away :(

Maybe she wants to keep it a secret???
I mean look at what happened to Midnight Sun (Twilight).
Maybe she doesn't want it to happen to her book???

Debi Nice Pic

message 39: by Lynn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lynn Midnight Sun was a big disappointment. I can't believe she let ONE person ruin it for ALL of her fans. I almost think she didn't want to release it at all in the first place and was just waiting for a valid excuse.

message 40: by Lynn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Lynn Jenny, I love the pictures you've been posting. They've been keeping me entertained hahaha.

Carly I really liked it. But some parts gave me the creeps, but it probably didn't help that I was reading it in the middle of the night :)

message 42: by Debi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Debi Reading books at night always keep me terrify. i know how u feel. *-*

Carly Envy wrote: "Reading books at night always keep me terrify. i know how u feel. *-*"

Not most but this one, man! I got so creeped out specially when Cas realized that someone was living in the attic (if you've read the book)

THANK YOU!
I'm flattered!

I think it's easier to express what I feel using pictures. Hahaha! :D
Anyway, I agree. I think she's never going to finish the book.
It's harder to write the story in Edward's perspective because he's more emotional than Bella.
So it's really a challenge.

Debi They are so cute. And i agreed with Lynn they also keep me entertained too.
