Alessandra | 108 comments I'm awfully sorry. I've read the Librarians' manual and I've poked around, but I can't seem to find where to go to get to the combining page. I'm sure it's something stupidly obvious and simple that I'm somehow overlooking, but at the moment I'm stymied in trying to combine two editions of the same book.

There's two versions at least of this book by Phyllis Gotlieb:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20...

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14...

If someone could please direct me to how I can find the right links to do this, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks.

Elizabeth (Alaska) It looks like those have already been combined. But the combine link is on the right side of the bar that says "Other Editions" should you need to look in the future.

Deborah | 390 comments Those two are already combined. Click on other editions to see the list of editions.

To combine editions, click on the combine editions link that is on the right side of the book page, author page and editions page.

If a librarian has read the manual and still has questions, there's no reason to be apologizing for asking "how to" questions in this group. That's a large part of what it's for!

Alessandra, it doesn't seem like what you're really trying to do is combine editions, since those are already combined (and have been for some time). Could you explain what you want the result to be?

Alessandra | 108 comments I think I was confused about what combined means, sorry. It looks like those books are just fine.

I'm beginning to think if I do think I've found something that needs combining, I'd better run it by here first so I don't do something rash that will need undoing.

Thanks for the information.

Then you would just get to learn how to separate editions. :-)

Really it was no problem; ask anything you want.
