Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Terrence. What types of books do you like to read? We have lots of different challenges for you to choose from.
Welcome Terrence! You will enjoy this group - friendly, helpful people and many different challenges to choose from. I enjoy doing buddy reads with others on books.

Welcome, Sharon! I love that you actually review the books you read for storytime, as it would be a great way to find new reads for my 7 year old son!
*waves* Hey, Sharon. I"m so glad you found The Challenge Factory. I enjoy childrens/teen fantasy as well.

Thanks Lanelle for welcoming me. I read various types of books from classical stuff such as Trollope & Jane Austen to Agatha Christie and other detective novels. I also like reading novels based in Sri Lanka.

I joined another group a year ago and been doing challenges ever since and love them (actually i might have a bit of an addiction!!).
I came across this group by chance, just browsing Goodreads. Looking forward to the challenges here in the new year!!

I am Natalie
♥Where are you from?
I grew up in New Haven, CT but have lived in Columbus, OH for many years now.
♥Your favorite Genre?
Poetry, literary fiction, mystery
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer?
I am a rank newcomer at challenges. I like the idea of having a clear concept of what I am going to read. Right now I just free-range at the library shelves. I'd like some organizing principles.
♥Any thing else you would like to share!
I am excited to be starting a new year this way.
Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Natalie. Two challenges that might interest you are Can I 'Persuade You? (celebrating Persuasion) and Reporter's Challenge (for mystery lovers).
Be sure to ask if you have any questions!

I enjoy the idea of challenge. I've done a few before. I'm looking forward to the New Year and all the new challenges and books to come.
Welcome Natalie and Q! I think you will really enjoy this group. My reading has skyrocketed since I joined because I find so many challenges I want to do... Q, I also love history and historical fiction and the Tudors in particular. Have you tried Alison Weir's The Lady Elizabeth? And Natalie, I haven't yet gotten in to poetry, but planned to try some as part of the diversity challenge that starts next week. Any suggestions for a newcomer to poetry?

Welcome, Q! Your name reminds me of my very favorite Star Trek character, so I'm always going to be picturing John DeLancie when your name pops up!
Have you read Rick Riordan's The Kane Chronicles? Great way to approach Egyptian mythology for children, but even as an adult, I got invested in the stories as well! Very much worth reading!
*waves* Hey, Q. I'm glad you found The Challenge Factory. My favorite genre is regency, as well. If there's some romantic suspense in it, it's even better.

I'm more of a contemporary romance person but once in a while I have this mood for a historical romance. (But I think i'm just a plain ol' romance junkie)
I started doing the goodreads challenge in 2012 but I have only completed last year's. I'm hoping I will be be able to do so again this year and since I only tend to read romance books in a specific genre, would totally like to try out new or other genres as well. Although I find it hard sometimes to stray from my comfort zones, I think I'd take the challenge. A book or so wouldn't hurt, would it? :)

Welcome to The Challenge Factory, Kaily. I'm so glad that you found us. We have so many challenges for you to choose from. Be sure to ask questions if you have any troubles. We are a friendly bunch!
Welcome Kaily! You will love this group. I have vastly increased my reading since joining because I keep find cool new challenges I want to try. Be sure to ask if you have any questions. People here are helpful and friendly.

I am Kelly and I'm from a very small town (population 1400) in central Illinois. I will read pretty much anything! This is first group I have joined on here, so I'm new to the game, but looking forward to it!
Welcome Kelly! I think you will truly enjoy this group. It is very active and there is never a shortage of challenges to choose from. Just ask if you have any questions. People are always happy to help.

I enjoy reading Paranormal/ Paranormal Romance, Fantasy, Mystery and occasionally Thriller. The books I read are mostly series. I like reading challenge and had done quite a few in other discussion groups. I think it adds another fun element to reading.
