However, if you would like to know of a great site that ignores the first indefinite ("a" "an" "some" "any") or the first definite ("the") articles, here is the link: http://alphabetizer.flap.tv/index.php

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments In the explanation below, an asterisk has been added so that you may see the original html. Just remember, it wouldn't normally be present.

The above website does cannot sort the following two books b/c the word "The" is right up against the colon : after the word "book". However, if you put a space in after the colon, it is able to sort for you. I don’t believe you will have to remove the space after you sort; the name of the book will still show.

[*book:The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression|1289617]
[*book:The Angry Hills|42695]

With space after the colon:

[*book: The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression|1289617]
[*book: The Angry Hills|42695]

Sorting Results (with space left in):

[*book: The Angry Hills|42695]
[*book: The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression|1289617]

Looks like:

The Angry Hills
The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression
