Wishlist = to-read list?

I'm wondering if Goodreads' to-read list is like Amazon's wishlist? That's the way I've been using it and it occurred to me that it might not work that way at all. Am I using it the right way?

YEs they do, if you see a book, click it and put it in your to be read bookshelf!

you can also label your own shelves like, To be read, don't ever read etc.

Oooo, I'll have to do that! I try not to label everything but I like to be organized, I'm OCD about that too, teehee!

I created a separate shelf called "buy-me" on which I add books that I want to read but don't have yet; that way I have a shelf that is *just* a wishlist :-)
