Cassandra Stryffe | 3 comments Yeah, read all 3 of them. They were pretty good. Do yourself a favor and expect to be disappointed with the movie. I find most movies lack so much when compared to the books.

But yeah, the book was good. I probably would have liked it better if Katniss didn't waffle so much when her love life came into question.

But that's my own personal prejudice. The one thing I hate about YA books is usually the attitude of the female lead.

Of course Bella (from twilight) was the worst. By the time I finished that steaming crap pile I was ready to rip my own eyes out of head.

Racheal Renwick (racheal_renwick) | 59 comments I understand women who are unsure, but I dislike the female lead, playing both guys. That just makes her seem like a tramp, LOL. I would have ONE mistake. Like, she kisses another guy, but nothing comes from it. I just hate how overly done the love triangle can be.

Cassandra, I've only just managed to claw my way back onto my chair! I fell off I was laughing so hard!!!

Cassandra Stryffe | 3 comments @Racheal...too right. Good lord you'd think every woman on earth was a total slut if you had to go by most YA books.

@Sean...hehehe. Sorry. sorta...

Only one romance with one guy, and it's such a small part of the book that it's nearly an afterthought! Pretty good read, 'specially if you're capable of suspending disbelief. (The premise is nearly scientifically impossible)
