I loved Atticus and I loved Scout in "to kill a mockingbird".

admired Atticus...identified with Scout. A truly great novel! A true classic.

Loved this book. Read it this year in my English class. Best novel ever.

read it in high school independent of any classroom. Must have been around 1965. Re read it last year. Bought a hardback copy for my permanent library.

Just to put the cat among the pigeons, I once wrote a short story based on the literary rumour that Harper Lee had the sort of help from Truman Capote on writing To Kill a Mockingbird that she gave him on writing In Cold Blood.
