[Ana]

This books plot is a girl named sam. she is in junior high and its not easy. she has people constantly looking at her and at home has a bigger problem. her dad has a ongoing problem and is now trying to fix it. Sams dad has told the family that he is going to stop his problem but has failed multiple times, so why should this time be any different. Sam's family is different because besides her dad, her mother is a yoga freak! she is convinced that taking up yoga is going to relax her and make the problems disappear. from what i have read so far, the only normal one in Sam's family is her little brother who isn't old enough to understand anything thats going on. School is also a struggle for Sam because she is always being judged about her looks, and her friends aren't much help in trying to make her feel better. Sam Enjoys going to the library after school and has started talking to a friend she thinks she can trust, about her dad. only time will tell if she can actually trust anyone enough to spill about her dad. Sam however does not talk about her dad to this girl in person. the two write letters back and forth and then hide them in the pages of an old, untouched book in the back of the library. Sam has also started talking to a boy who also hangs out at the library. Not enough information yet to tell how serious that will get.

I love this book too.My favorite character is the main character which is Sam. I think she is a very strong in a way because her dad was an alcoholic and every time he would drink he would do something stupid. I mean she could of just left but she decided to stay and live with her dad. Who was your favorite character ? (:

I read this book last year, and my favorite character is Sam. I feel bad for her little brother, especially when the accident happens.

I really like this book. It's a good story because its not just another story of a girl but a story many can relate to. This is s story of a girl named Sam. Besides the constant struggles of being a teenage girl in middle school and wanting to grow up already she has an alcoholic father. I like this book because she realizes many things throughout her trek. She is a very strong character.

everything that happens in this book happens In real life, its hard to believe but its true. many teens who read his book could relate to this book. the main character sam is strong and I cant imagine how she would feel going through all that. I also feel bad for her brother who also goes through a lot in the book./
