Allison, I have been having trouble with Firefox - but not those problems. For me the "addbook/author button" kept getting stuck. Also it has been taking ages to save a comment. The weekend is coming. GR always has serious problems on the weekends.......
I haven't used Safari or Firefox in a long time; my current browser is Google Chrome.
I've been having trouble with GR all week I'm finally getting updates for Friday's discussions now. Everything has been very delayede for me since Tuesday I think it was.I wonder if it has something to do with the change they made with the page set up when they added the recommendations and notifications. Everythings been kind of scrambled this week and they added changes this week too.
I would like to know if anyone recognizes the source of my problem. Or do you too have this problem. I use Firefow on a Dell computer that is about 7 years old. Often the following happens on GR:When I write in a comment box the words all of a sudden stop appearing in the box. I have to click on the last letter written and then retype all the words that never appeared . This happens every 3-4 seconds. Very annoying. Does this happen to anyone else? Why does this happen?
Chrissie, I use Firefox but don't have this problem. Have you got all the recent updates for Firefox. it seems like they have had a few lately. I believe you can just go to the site and check.
Sue, I have the latest updates. I checked. Maybe it is that the Belgian Operator doesn't provide fast enough lines? Thank you for your advice. At least now I know the problem is not due to Firefox.
I have the high speed fiber optic lines through my carrier so maybe that makes a difference.
Sue, we have both optic lines and older copper lines, which are being slowly replaced. ....
!?!? I wonder what the problem is. Maybe it is GR itself then as I was having major problems last week, which seem to be resolved now (from the look of all the messages I'm getting).
Yes, it was very quiet last week. Everybody fled the site it seems due to problems.
Maybe you and I had the same problems if you were "quiet" too last week.
I am still getting Alice all the time. At this point I take problems on GR for granted. That isn't good.
I haven't been but I guess I better keep an eye out!

Why can't I update my page status?
I have installed all my latest updates. I'm using Firefox. Might it work better with a different browser?
