What Are You Reading Now?
I have just finished reading The Hundred-Foot Journey. It starts out in Mumbai, goes to London, and ends up in France. It is about a very special chef. I am anticipating seeing the movie.

Today I went and saw The Hundred Foot Journey which I enjoyed even though it was a little different from the book.
Finished yesterday The Silver Star by Jeannette Walls. It was just ok to me. I like it but I don't think it is nothing impressive. I liked her other 2 books much better. I can see in this novel how many characters where inspired in members of her family that appear in her memories. I'll start today The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley. I have been looking for this one for a long time.
I enjoyed The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. I have a couple of the sequels that are on my to read list.

Have Frog Music on my TBR but it didn't get the highest ratings so I was wondering if it was good?
It's being a little slow to get into it, Sarah, but I have to say that I've had little free time to read those last days. I let you know when I finished. I hope this is a good reading since I've abandoned the previous one I was reading...

I have finally finished The Goldfinch today. I am not sure what I would rate it. There were certain parts I liked better than others
I agree - the writing was brilliant, but some of the plot decisions in Goldfinch didn't seem right to me.

Trying to get through The Woman in White. It has been slow going for me, but I have been liking it. Just finished The Road - it is so sad and bleak, but so tender and beautiful.
Just finished Growing Minds: On Becoming a Teacher! Wonderful read! Still working on The Surrendered. I enjoy it every time I pick it up, it's just longer than what I've been reading lately and very heavy, so I'm working through it slowly. I just want to cry at the end of just about every chapter!

Just finished Murder in Murray Hill by Victoria Thompson. A gaslight mystery.
