 I followed you Mariana :)
I followed you Mariana :)You re-blog them Jessica :) so you follow people that post pictures you like and then when you see one you like click the reblog button! It really keeps me updated on when new Hunger Games trailers come out and stuff! I know it seems boring but it's hard to explain, it's really fun once you get one and start following people. (although i will warn you that sometimes someone you're following depending who you're following will occasionally post porn. :/ it's happened to me a few times i just unfollow them)

doesn't matter how old you are! I read that the audience this weekend was 56% age 25 and older! Sure some of that might be parents, but not all at that percentage. And I'm 25, i'm sure i'll get it.

i can get the darn 52ish year olds in my life to pick it up! since the movie came out - or rather since they knew the movie was coming out - they all say 'eh, i'll just wait and see the movie and then think about it if I like it.' but as good as the movie is, it's just not the same emotion/intensity as the book and those people won't even read the first page since it wasn't their absolute favorite movie in the world :( eh, oh well, can't convince everyone, wish they would at least try it though!

And I think the ones that wont bother to pick it up are ones that dont normally read as a hobby.
that's just it, some of them are big time readers! that's why I don't get it. but... i guess they are not big time YA book readers and so they are not really familiar with dystopian either. oh well. i guess some people like to stay in their comfort zone, i wasn't sure about dystopia either until I tried it, and now I keep reading all dystopia stuff lately.

Everyone has their type of book they like to read. That's the greatest thing about books. There is such an array of genres to chose from :)
what good dystopian stuff have you guys read lately (besides Hunger Games and Divergent)? I haven't had much time to read lately, but next week I need something to occupy me while I have to sit and wait around most of the day for something.

Hey Nicole! Welcome to DAPR! Yes, the girl thing is literally a stereotype, but we're proud of who we are! As Kesha once said "We R Who we R"
And I LOVE the Host, even though it wasn't a fave of mine, but still...even I can't wait for the movie! What about Avengers?
