I mistakenly thought the book name was Hooray for Me, however there seems to be another book by that name which does not have the same subject matter. I recall that the book was based on and from the perspective of children living in a city during the depression. One of the children's names was Libby. La La Libby wearing a toilet paper train rings a bell. One of the children had a family member with what they called "Diet Beetles" (aka diabetes). It was a book my Mom shared with me around 1980 and I believe it was old then. Unfortunately, she shared the book with many friends, the last of which did not return it. I would really like to find the correct name of the book and author so I can attempt locating a copy to share with my daughter. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hurray for Me by S.J. Wilson. Told from the perspective of 5 year old Bobby Hirshman, in the Great Depression. Libby is a neighbor brat.

Oh my goodness! Lobstergirl, you are beautiful! Thank you soooo much! I can't replace my Mom's first copy, but I can share the story with my daughter. Bless you.
