Omg he always makes me cry. once i was reading his book, The Last Song, and sobbing as usual, and my mom came into the room and asked what was wrong with me and i started beating the book against my bed. He write so well but it is soooooooooooo sad, ugh. have you seen the movie? that is how i got into this book, they have similar plots but some of the details are blurred, but that one made me cry the whole end of the movie. :'(
I don't really cry that much, but I was overwhelmingly sad as this book finished up. I think I cried at the movie though. I liked it just a tad better, but both are amazing.

I'm a sap. A cry during a lot of movies. And my bf thinks it's funny I "lol" during books and even cry. This one was definitely a tear-jerker.
I did! For both movies and book. More tears for the movie, even after watching in for the 10th time or more... T_T
cried the whole time and read it straight through. My face was puffy and swollen, I haven't cried that much from my own personal heartbreaks or at funerals in my own family(they had all lived long happy lives). It is hard when innocence ones die young!
I did. They had true love and they didn't get to be together longer. :(I love the movie version. Made me cry so much more. Mandy Moore fits the character.
I saw the movie first, then read the book. I cried in the movie, think I've see it about 10 times, cry every single time. But I didn't cry in the book.
I cried both on the movie and book.In the movie, it was the time when I was able to reflect on what Jamie mentioned that no matter how much you want to rant and be mad, you cannot blame God. The tear fell at exact point when she said, "I do not need a reason to be angry with God."
In the book, I shed a tear when Landon opened his gift and it was the bible that Jamie most treasured.
Both are tear-jerkers and very nice.
I have cried at nearly every single one of his books!A Walk to Remember, Safe Haven, Message in a Bottle and The Guardian are probably the ones that I cried at the hardest.
I absolutely adore Nicholas Sparks, I think he is one of the best authors in the romance genre.
Me too... I did cried :'( this book touched me so deep. All of Nicholas Spark's books was make me cried. Especially this one... I loved this book. best book I've read :)

No tears actully left my eyes but they were stining from holding them back.

I haven't seen the movie of A Walk to Remember . . . I agree that most of Nicholas Sparks' books make me cry though . . .he has a way of drawing you in and making you feel as though you are part of character's lives . . . . The Notebook, The Wedding, The Last Song (the film is the WORST for me!!!) . . . . but A Walk to Remember was one of the most tissue-requiring ones LOL!!!!
Nicholas Sparks is the one of the best authors ever. His books are full of emotion and love. I have cried for almost all of his books and i have read every single a novel he has written.I really want to see the movie for A Walk to Remember but I'm afraid that it will ruin the book. I also LOVEEEEE The Notebook, The Last Song, The Wedding, Dear John and Message in a Bottle!
i think it's really hard not to cry while reading this book! cried almost the whole book my mother asked me several times if there was something wrong with me. btw i haven't read a Sparks book without crying and before Sparks I never cried while reading a book.
This was my first Nicholas Sparks book, the one that got me hooked for life. The story unfolded perfectly to set up the ending. I could help for crying.
This was the first book I ever read by Nicholas Sparks. It isn't my norm so I picked it up because I wanted to watch the movie someday.Boy, did I cry...and cry...and cry...and cry! I was on the bus coming home from work and felt like such an ass for blubbering like a baby on my way home, I got off about 5 stops ahead of mine so I could cry in peace and get it out before I got home.
The movie didn't make me cry like that. Maybe I was just hormonal during that time, I don't know but I have only ever cried like that from a book maybe 5 times. This one really got me!
I cried when I read A Walk to Remember. I just can't help myself. Something in those words written touches my heart and let me be that emotional about the story.
It was a sad book but so true. I cried the last few chapters but could not put the book down. I read the whole book within one day. It was a great book and I will read it again. I was kind of upset about the ending of the book, but at least the love is still there 40 years later. That's what you call true love and the bond they shared that was never broken.
I cried, but i cried even more for the movie.
I cried over and over again from all of my heart while reading the book and while watching the movie .. I have to say that Nicholas sparks is more than a talented writer,he's really awesome , i like each word of each of his books..:)
MEEEEE i cant believe Landon did all that for her... :((( and it breaks my heart to see Jamie like that. I dont know why but I broken down reading about Landon's friends came apologizing to Jamie
I DID!! i cried during the film and while reading the book. my mom still thinks im a weirdo for crying when i read a really sad story or watch a sad movie.. lol -.-"

Yes I did! I cried so many times, I really love this book! Who doesn't cry reading this book anyway :)
The fact that they continued the wedding even if Jamie was close to dying made me cry so much! That's true love over there. So yeah, pretty much cried my heart out. :(
I was a goner.. Cried more then I usually do for a book with this one. It was a touching story. Yet to see the movie. I will be much more worse for wear with the movie. I am sure of that.
First I had seen the movie, I cried most at hte ending. while reading the book I could pull myself together because I knew what to expect
